Thanks to Craig & Lona and ALL the crew!!!! Once again (as always) Robin and I had an absolutely wonderful time (except for fighting the traffic back from Warrenton. :motor: We hit CR 600 and ran up 55 to avoid Gainesville) Looking forward to many more drives to come. Thanks again!

Received a whole lotta :wavey: today. Man, it sure felt great. Tagged about 6 MINI's today. Tagged along (no pun intended) with two MINI's just to hand them a club card and talk to them. You meet some really great people in MINI's. With this MINI thang...I think I have some issues. :stupid:

Yes. I have come to the realization that some are MINImaniacs like us and some people just drive a car that happens to be a MINI. I notice EVERY MINI around me and look at the driver of everyone (in hopes of an acknowledgement or a wave) and VERY VERY few (Dayum near none) even look in the direction of another MINI. It's sad. No, it's pathetic. What has this world come to where the SECOND most freedom providing and pleasant experience (driving) has become a secluded isolationist event. Motoring used to be about the open road and sharing, meeting and enjoying new people, places & things. what happened to the passion? Fun? Enjoyment?

I've tagged about a dozen since I received the cards fro CMcVeay but I don't think any of them have joined yet. I rolled down the window and conversed with a guy in a clubman this morning at the corner of Baron Cameron & Reston Parkway on my way to work...hopefully he'll join the club. There's a Blue MINI in my apartment complex, I spoke to the owner, I think she's watching the forum...but has yet to chime in or join. I would like to think that EVERY MINI OWNER would join the forum (or want to). Then again I've ALWAYS had an optimistic outlook on everything.

I'm curious as to how much Autocross costs and how much track time you get. (Trying to decide if I want to get into Autocross) Thanks

I used McCoy's Auto Glass in Culpeper to replace my windshield in my 2006 Chevy Colorado and he replaced it with and UPGRADED Top Tint Windshield and I paid UNDER $200.00 and he came to me. He does all the windshield repair for the dealership that Robin works at in Warrenton.

Robin & I had an absolutely wonderful time. We enjoyed meeting with everyone and look forward to future events. Thanks for such a fun time.

Met NHarrison21 at the Mach V event and we had a great time. He gave me some great ideas for Blak and event has me considering SOME Plasti-Dip ideas.:idea:
