  1. That's an awfully big jump to go from 205/55 to 225/50's. I checked on Tire Rack and they have lots of non-runflats in 205/55 so that may be a source that you didn't check yet. At least you'll know if a locally sold brand actually comes in the size you are looking for. Out of curiosity, why skip past 215's and go all the way to 225?

All of the 205/55's on TireRack are summer tires and I'd prefer an all-season. I skipped 215's in trying to maintain the same ratio... But I see there are many choices in 215/50, so I guess that's what I'll do.

  2. When you guys order tires online, who do you have install them?

I have factory 205/55 R17 runflats and want to switch to a regular tire. I can't find non-runflats in that size so I'm looking at 225/50 - will they fit on my wheels?

  3. I see a Hot Chocolate with a white top and stripes in Fairfax Station/Burke every once in a while. I saw it again today and the driver turned her head to look at me and Monster as she passed. One of these days I'm going to follow her or something to give her a card. MINIs are one thing, but brown MINIs?

I finally saw this one again in a parking lot in Oakton - tagged it! License plate is MINIM&M or similar.

  4. Spotted MONSTER, Mellissa and the family at the KMart going out of business sale. :wavey:

I was on a mission. A friend spotted two cans of SeaFoam and put them aside for me. Had to recover the hidden treasure. :top:

BTW, I thought you had vanity tags? DERP!

I was looking at the bikes, but they were in rough shape. Got my first look at Smokie though! :top:

Nope, no vanity tags. I couldn't think of anything to say...

  5. When you get Lola back and you want to do an oil change or anything like that, just get in touch. I know I'm not the only one that willing to sit back and point (instead of do) and talk you through processes.

I would also be interested in learning to do an oil change. Maybe there can be a 'novice day' or something?
