So where did y'all stay? Which side (Mack or St. Ig) is best for the event?

The Giants and the Redskins kick off at 1P. Will the game be on in that private room? :-)

Welcome!
We're leaving Thursday after work.
There are magnetic club badges on our store.
http://dcmm.storenvy.com/products/6255790-dcmm-gobadge
Hilary manages the store her club name is chillin. If you order send her a message and see if she can figure something out to get it to you.
We're doing Atlanta to Baltimore
When will the new logo (same as on newest club shirts) be on the badges?
I land back from Denver Wed night, getting in road 3-4A Thur morn.

MINI USA is looking for volunteers to assist them in supporting their campaign with Feeding America (http://miniusanews.com/newsrelease.do?id=841&mid=1)
Duties will be as assigned, but primarily you will be handing out food at the MD Food Bank, 2200 Halethorpe Farms Road, Baltimore, MD from 1 PM - 4 PM. Media coverage is expected so MINI volunteers should get their 15 seconds of fame/cameo on the evening news.
This is the same day that MINI Takes The States will arrive in Baltimore. So come on over and help the less fortunate before you check into your hotel (or after you check in). In fact, if you're coming up from Richmond and not taking the scenic route up (I'm going straight home to swap out dirty for clean before I head to the Food Bank :-) or you're starting in Baltimore, you can easily participate and get downtown Baltimore to freshen up before that eve's MTTS event.
So RSVP asap so MINI and Feeding America can have a headcount and prepare for our arrival. Thanks for thinking of others.

Sounds good. I just sent in the final payment on Phineus, who is now 37 months old, so I guess I need to do something here.
Yup, yup. I vaguely recall there was a 30-day/1K mi delay from the time you start coverage to when it actually applies.
-
Which level did you go with? Silver, Gold or Platinum?
I know you weren't asking me, but I went with Platinum. The upside: it paid for itself within three months. The 2nd repair, I think it was a blown turbo, exceeded the total cost of the warranty. The downside: it paid for itself within three months with a single repair exceeding the total cost of the warranty.
Also, when I traded in my '11, I was only 20K miles into the 100K coverage, so I received a prorated refund of the unused portion.

Ya, wasn't sure Will got that
Ah. I did not. Mea culpa.
Using TapaTalk and I didn't pay attention to the header, only clicked the alert notification.
Thanks for the clarification.

If I get my MINI back from Passport Collision in time (was rear ended at a stop light. I'll get my MINI back tomorrow *or* Monday [emoji53])

No, not yet.
How many more?

I'm thinking Pure Silver Metallic. Accent Color Code 900.
Clubman colors start on page 8.

Welcome! Hopefully you will have your MINI long enough for the upcoming driving season. One of the first runs is at the end of this month (which *I* personally hope gets snowed out, but that's just me [emoji16]).
Again, welcome.
-
+2 on don't over commit. It's very hard NOT to do once all of the runs open up, but if you book runs back-to-back-to-back you'll end up missing one either because a run returned late, or you were just too worn out to do the last one.
I've found it best to sign up to no more than one per day, and follow your nose after that. If there is another run you want to do the same day, just show up, often there is a no-show spot you can take.
(IMHO) if you can get a cabin at Fontana, do so.
-
(IMHO) get it into a dealership/MINI-experienced repair shop asap to determine the exact cause/have the codes read. You wouldn't want to be on the way back and go into limp mode or break down altogether. It could be a long tow ride and at a very inconvenient time.
-
I sent you a PM back....looks like you have a MINI Snowboard.
(PM) tag. You're it
-
I told Greg right after he won it at MTTB that you wanted it.
Yup, yup. I heard you and a few others did. I've just been remiss on contacting him. So slammed at work that I had to negate my weeks vacation over T-day [emoji21]

ErinHime said:For those of us who don't currently have a two-way radio but want to try and pick up a pair prior to Sunday after reading this…is there one this group would recommend that works well between cars? Thanks!!

YES!
there may be information from the pace cars that's important to hear or there could be a warning from another MINI in the line.
Bring them! :top:
Channel 7-21?

Tassels are more appropriate when you have your top down:rofl:
-
I didn't have a tune work done by them, I had suspension work which they botched and then re-charged me to fix. *I* can't recommend them for anything except frustration, aggravation and a waste of money.

You need to attend MOTD (MINIS on the Dragon)!
+1

Oops. Sorry, I forgot.
THANKS SARA & TYLER FOR HOSTING! [emoji16]
Wish I could've stayed for MINIS & brew, but it is football season (and the first game started at 9:30A today).

Ali,
Thanks for organizing, it was exactly what I needed for my new MINI (and it was killing me not having the functionality from my old MINI).
