  1. WELCOME! Wish I had your center dash instead of my Nav.
  2. I have recently bought into the new mirrorless cameras with a Sony NEX-5N and no longer need my Nikon Gear. Kit: Nikon D90 Sold Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8 Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 Sold SB-600 Speed Light with basic diffuser Sold Gary Fong Lightsphere Diffuser Sold Lowepro Bag I am selling this $1200 for any who are interested. Its a great starter setup that covers a good focal range for most hobby photographers. Both lenses are fast with no problems. I am not looking to part out anything at this point.
  3. Had a great time getting to meet some of you on Saturday! Some good looking MINIs in this group and very friendly people. :top: Fergus also had a good time making so many new friends.
  4. Will do Craig and thanks, I know it is good for cleaning out the fuel system and since I picked mine up with over 100k on it I would like to do something, clean or replace, for the injectors so they are spray in the most efficient way.
  5. Ha I own a pitbull, its a picnic to help make other people aware of them and how awesome they can be. You all may just meet him tomorrow he likes riding in the MINI. Jen and I, and possibly Fergus will be there. I'll have to see where the costume party is, if Fergus comes I'll dress him up. What time is the departure from there?
  6. Well I figure since I have already started some changes I may as well get the stock shots up for prosperity's sake. Day286 by grmncrsnbr, on Flickr DSC_0026 by grmncrsnbr, on Flickr Day287 by grmncrsnbr, on Flickr Day291 by grmncrsnbr, on Flickr
  7. By the looks of your signatures you all have MCSes and would this be recommended for the Cooper as well. I had heard about this a lot in my VW days on the 1.8t to help with sludge but never much on using it with non FI cars.
  8. I guess it depends on if its new or new to you. In my case I am looking to do some of the small things that are also maintenance like. Recently installed the ignition kit from Way which is new spark plugs, wire and ignition coil that is a little more powerful for better burn. Next up will most likely be filters along with a new intake. After that will be motor mounts. Tint will be in there somewhere as well along with some weight reduction like a rear seat delete.
  9. Going to try and make it to this, to meet some of you all and get my car coded. It will also be cool to meet the guy who sold me the parts I recently installed. Its this or a pitbull awareness picnic. :hmmmm:
  10. Thanks everyone for the welcoming, sounds like a fun group of people I think I will fit in quite nicely. Got my ignition kit installed yesterday, really happy with the results. Looking for a recommendation, should I get an injector service done to clean them up or install new ones? Lord knows after 100k they probably need some love.
  11. Picked up a 2005 MINI Cooper last week with 107550 on the clock. Single owner used for travel so lots of highway. Body and interior were in great shape so I couldn't pass up the deal. Hyper Blue with black top and mirrors, nav, heated seats, sunroof and auto climate control. Already had to replace the battery but ordered some other items, some of which will be going on this afternoon if the wind doesnt thwart my efforts. WMW Ignition Kit (new plugs, wires and ignitor) and a stubby antenna from WMW. I also ordered their "first oil change" kit which I will most likely do at the end of the month. I picked the car up for a daily since my Jeep is killing me in gas. I love driving it though and have some plans for future modifications as time and money permit.
