    Well, it is one of those thing like any insurance. . .will you need it? Who knows. Will you be glad you have it if something goes wrong? Damn Skippy.

     

    IMO, it is cheap peace of mind. I have had my MINI is the dealership twice since purchasing. With my plan, I paid a $50 deductible, plus overage on the labor(my plan only covers X$/hr). . .2,300 bill/invoice was a LOT easier to bare when I only had to pay $178.

     

    3K upfront isn't too bad, if you break it down to what it is per month($166 per month) and if something did go kaput, you won't have to worry.

    Hi, everyone. I am new to both your forum and MINI's. I ordered my Spice Orange R57 July 12th, from MoA and want to get both a clear bra and window tinting within a day of delivery. I apologize if this is a redundant question....but does anyone have a recommendation for a local vendor to install a clear bra and/or window tinting? I called a place in Rockville, but I was hoping there would be a great installer closer to Alexandria.

    Lots of threads on this topic, but, I will still offer out California Tint at Tysons Corner. Dave did a great job on mine at a super reasonable price.

    I found a big improvement in Tigger's ride when I got off of the run flats.

    Sorry I can't really offer anything "New" for advise, but I echo this statement.

     

    I couldn't believe the ride quality after switching from RF's. Not only I, but My better half was SO thrilled.

     

    As for any performance loss in cornering/handling, it was minuscule and hardly noticeable for daily driving. What was gained in comfort, certainly outweighed any in daily comfort.

     

    Springs will also improve not only the handling, but ride quality as well.

     

    Just my little $.02.

    The cruise in sounds fun, any other MINIacks going? I remember shortly after I moved here, there was a meet up at a Chic'fil'a (off willard road?)but was all honda kids, and a crap load of hondas/nissans/chevys/and Scions(toyotas)and maybe 3 notable cars. Wasn't worth the mean muggin' just going around the parking lot.

     

     

    I, for one, am just glad I don't have to deal with the 4th this year. I plan on laying low, having a few Guinness, throwing a few birds on the grill, and keeping it low key. Will be the first 4th in 3 years I am not doing the roof top event at 12th and F for 3thousand people. I can watch those same National Mall Fireworks from the comfort of the mancave, and NOT have a 3 hour commute home!

    I bought a new set of radios last week thinking I had lost my charger. Of course, as soon as it was too late to cancel the order I found the charger.

    I could return them, but I'm terrible about sending stuff back so...
