I was on a walk in the neighborhood and trying to cross Braddock to get to Green Springs. Even though we had a crosswalk no one was stopping. finally the right side was clear and from the left, I saw a chili red with white mirrors MINI. I waved nice to them, and they stopped and let us cross MINI people are the nicest!!! Ali

I used to be a dog groomer. I was once cutting nails on a Ridgeback, very sweet dog. He got ticklish and kicked his back foot while I trimmed the nails. Got me in the stomach and literally knocked me to my boot!!! They are strong dogs

YES! a good name. I actually like Lola as a name. I think sparkling silver is kind of a regal color, so I would be inclined to go with a name that sounds like royalty. She needs a pretty sparkly name! stick shifts are boys automatics are girls BTW - I can't think of any other MINIs named Lola

I hope you can come and play. It really is for a good cause and is a fun event. I'm working on prizes and the route now.

Planning for this event has started. While you were all out having fun on the scavenger hunt I was running this route and getting lost. It has a little of everything. There's some busy roads, some residential roads, some country roads and everyone's favorite, a nice stretch of twisties.

I had a MINIrific evening. First in the 5 miles to get to from our house to the restaurant we got two good waves. One interchange yellow Cabrio and a black one (is Astro Black the only black). Then we got to Food Matters and decided to sit outside. There are lots of MINIs in that area, and a dark silver one pulled up to the stop sign. I decided to try something that I have thought of before and flashed them the Peace sign. I figure, if they're MINI people, they'll get it. THEY DID!!! She rolled down the window and said "Tigger?" It was Christina from the club. Now I'm not sure if I know Christina yet, but she promised that next time she sees us at the restaurant that they're going to come down and join us. See... A fun MINI night :party:

I'll bring my buffer and plenty of Prima products. We had an unofficial detailing party at my townhouse right before the Dragon. We did 6 MINIs and had a lot of fun. I learned a lot of little tricks and I also was able to help others. We all got a bit obsessed with getting the tear stains off of the bonnets (spots where the washer fluid comes out), we had moderate success on that. It's always more fun to work on the car with other MINIacs along.
