  1. I'm pretty sure she's stock Catalina. If there were performance mods Craig would have found them by now. Those cherry blossoms might add some hp though
  2. Mark had it installed at the Dragon. He said they drilled one hole to install it. He's happy with it. He only did one cup holder and said that's enough for him. For my first gen, no drilling was needed it clamps on and I now have 2 huge cup holders on the same down tube. With one on top of the other it works well and I can put all kinds of crap in there if I don't have two drinks in the car. The new cup holder held my walkie talkie and sun glasses all the way home from the Dragon.
  3. They won't be destroyed, they're going to take on more wear though. I've done class and one autocross (plus a week of hard driving at the Dragon) and the edges of my tires show it. But the base of the tire is fine. autocross is hard on the tires so if you do it a lot, you'll wear them out faster
  4. You will use your own car The tires will get eaten up if you really do it right. Some people that get serious will have a set of tires just for autocross. It's fairly low speed, as in you won't get out of second gear, but you will feel like you're driving faster. It's a huge adrenaline rush to race through those cones and read the course.
  5. Catalina if you come to the one in May you can get a feel for it and school will make more sense.
  6. Phil I took it in March, will they let me take it again? I'm a slow learner I know my husband Mark wants to take it for sure, he missed the one in March. I wanted to also wanted to say that autocross has helped me a lot in my driving skills. At the Dragon last week I was much more confident on the twisty roads and that was because of autocross. It helped me to understand the limits of my car and what it will and won't do. It helped me to also understand steering techniques and how to power through a turn. I didn't drive the twisties of the Dragon with the intensity of autocross, because that would not be very smart. At autocross there's no stone wall or cliff so you can go all out safely. That kind of safe situation allowed me to really learn my car. Ali
  7. I just really want to see how it looks with the tire mounted on Bender's boot
  8. I got the cup holder, it's nice having two big cup holders. The new one is great for holding my walkie talkie
  9. Can you post a pic so I can see how it looks installed?
  10. They can put those on a Cabrio?
  11. Poor Cricket, that sounds like an important part
  12. Here's a link to my album, I have a slew more to add http://flic.kr/s/aHsjzKsSU2
  13. I like the design of the Craven Speed dip stick. The stock one scared me, our almost broke in half inside the engine. That woulda have been expensive
  14. Todd booked up on wed, he was swamped. Covering my roll bars turned out to be a bigger pain then he expected.
  15. It's because the stuff is so good that I'm not allowed to use it.
  16. He will probably post to FB, he posts a lot there. Black Wow is good stuff, it works well.
  17. I have pictures of the mischief, am posting to my FB wall now
  18. Tigger got his roll bars and headlight rings done in dark silver vinyl, looks really good. I also got his dings removed and an ECU Tune. On the highway coming home I really noticed the tune in how he was more responsive. I bought him some presents too and got myself some MINI swag I am sure there were other mods. I know Lola got some things done and so did Coqui
  19. Hey cabin buddy at least I didn't take out the sapling while parking Merlin I'm totally innocent here
  20. Welcome! You sound like a MINIac in the making. My Tigger always makes me smile, even after an 11 hour Hwy drive Can't wait to meet you and Nutty. Ali
  21. This morning our cabin woke to find our MINIs booted and MINI citations on our windshields. I would like to let the authorities know that while Tigger was given a dirty car citation he was actually clean. Mark was very happy with his sweet Wheels citation. Before we left we made sure to pay it forward. I'm surprised we didn't get woken up by the giggling that must have been going on in the driveway. Great trip! Can't wait for next year
  22. I did some sleuthing to help people figure out where the pot hole was. The tow truck had a number on the side, so I googled it. It's from Wytheville, VA. Which is right off of 81, I'm going to guess the pot hole was in that area. They did post that Flow MINI took care of them and they got back on the road.
  23. Glad you are there and having a good trip
  24. They got towed to Flow MINI so I would guess it's somewhere near there. I THINK it was the left lane, but not 100% sure on that. I posted to MA
  25. Can I reserve some indoor time to treat Tigger's top?
