Thanks Craig and Lona for hosting another nice party. Catalina did a great job on the gift swap and she had great little helpers. The food was awesome!! I forgot my crockpot and tables but Mark will get them on Sunday.

Tigger and I did a 360 in autocross once, it was a real rush and almost fun since nothing bad happened. Still don't want to do that again

A few years ago a few of us hacked it and started signing up during the night. I think Barry was amused He fixed it so we can't do that any more

Mark and I went out and explored some potential sites for the Virginia side of the shoot. What we found was that Gravely park has potential as long as it's not crowded. There are some areas where we can park a few MINIs and get the Washington Monument and the Capital in the shot but they are of course restricted parking spots so we'll just need to park and move quickly. As a back up we even found some areas where the cars could be driving through the lot and we can get the shot. Another thing that should be fun is that we can park a few MINIs under the flight path of incoming aircraft and hopefully get a big jet flying overhead. I think this park gives us a ton of options as long as it's not too crowded. Hopefully we'll be early enough to beat the crowds

I can translate. I don't use recipes so my currie dishes are different every time.

Then I'll bring something different so we don't have too many curries.

Thanks, I really appreciate all of the suggestions. I think 10 - 15 minutes from the dealership is fine but people may not want another 30 minute drive, especially if it's in the direction away from DC/ VA.

Ok these are a good start. I don't know that we want to drive too far and maybe I have to drop my vision of being waterfront. Given how far out it is and the month we may only get 3 - 6 MINIs so probably don't need a huge parking lot. How much farther are Galesville and Deale where you say we can get a fun group shot?
