hmmmm...only 9 people? Last year we had around 50 and attendees had to pay. C'mon folks...this event is FREE! Come one, come all! Games, prizes and free food! Plus a beach, swimming, a playground for the kiddies all on the beautiful Severn river.

We haven't done one since I have been around. However, some folks have taken part in this annual event put on by Tar Heel MINI Motoring Club:

For those of you coming down I81/I40...you'll start seeing signs that I40's closed. Don't panic..they're kinda fibbing. Parts of it actually are, but not the whole thing
