  1. It will be a beautiful day. Don't forget your camera.
  2. That's what I'm going to ask as well. So did you change the water pump or swap out the whole supercharger housing. I think I'm having a pr

  4. I have some info from our run leader, SpitfireMKI, that the run is going to be a really fun one and will last ~1.5 hrs. The route will be good for both first timers and old timers. He said you w
  5. Some said it's normally started at 5.30pm until late (1pm ?), with 50-200 cars depending on how nice the weather is. Some were travelling back and forth from here to Rockville meetup. Here is some pix from last weekend. images from g35drivers.com
  6. Please join us at National Habor @ 8.30am. :wavey:
  7. Great!!! I agree with you that the Rockville one was kind of wild !!! Sometime it was a little too wild to my taste Awesome. Sounds like a plan for the next "Coffee & MINIs".
  8. Oops.., I'm sorry. I should have read you sig. R56 would greatly benefit from ECU tuning (plus a hi-performance downpipe and exhaust ). There are a few of our members have moded their R56, e30r56 for instance. Have fun on your modding plan. :top:
  9. Is it the same kind of gathering as the one in Rockville (Montrose Crossing) on Friday night?
  10. Mod for autox is quite tricky. You have to be careful what to do with your car or it will bump you up to the higher class than you should be. If the mod is for a fun motoring purpose, then that easy. Exhaust is cool (nice aggressive sound with some gain), Brakes and tires are good mod as well. Suspension is a must have, the cost is depending on your budget. JCW flash is not going to help much if you don't have other mod, such as smaller pulley, larger injectors and etc. Bang for the bug for R53 would be small pulley to start with. Fine tuning is also a great idea, but I would say wait until you finish modding your hardware then custom tune your ecu to make everything works in harmony. Just my 2 cents.
  11. Welcome to the MINI world. We'll have a few meetup in the next couple of week. Please feel free to swing by. Looking forward to see you and your EVO. :top:
  12. Still on. :top: We'll be meeting at Mayorga at the Harbor, 8.30am. Btw, don't forgot the other golf on 8/23
  13. It is all depending on what is the final goal. For autox, track or spirited fun, they require mod differently. I'd suggest that which ever route of mod you'd take, make it balance: Power, handling, Stopping power and the look.
  14. Did you try their cheesecake?
