I will be getting there at 10:30 to start setting up. I have a few helpers, but if others want to come, they're welcome to help. If anyone would like to come early to help with set up, please PM me. I don't want 25 people there early.

I got a wave this morning from a Dk Silver/Black MCS. I was waiting to turn left onto Rock Creek from Calvert and he was next to me going straight. He had to wave, since I caught him staring at Cricket. She still has all of her stickers on from yesterday, so he had good reason to be!

It sounds like what happened to Cricket at the Dragon. It was the high pressure fuel pump. The good news is that MINI extended the warranty on that part to 10 years or 110,000 miles. Passport replaced it for me at no charge.

The route check went well, but I've realized I'm just not going to have time between now and the picnic to do the final route checks (they're absolutely necessary due to a possible road closure). So, if someone else would like to take this on, I will happily pass on the route sheets. If not, I'll lead the run this fall when I have more time to prepare.

The route check for the pre-picnic run is planned for this Sunday. If all goes well, you'll see a new event posted Sunday night or Monday. :motor:

I'll be there around 9:30-10. I will have a bunch of stuff with me - grill badges, event shirts, etc. You can pay cash or credit card!! Yep - DCMM can now accept credit cards in person. (sorry - the forums are still paypal only for now).

We've got 5 cars - technically 7 if you count Paul's MINI and the Subaru. I'm still up for going. MiniLvr - You don't need to bring anything. I have enough detailing supplies to start my own shop. I'm more than happy to share!
