thedonva Posted February 17, 2011 Report Posted February 17, 2011 Bridgestone - Potenza G019 Grid with Uni-T I'm thinking about going with Bridgestone Potenza tires (G019) - Costco has these for $110 a piece. Does anyone have experience with these. These are 205/45/R17s - it looks like Tirerack and DTD don't offer that size, what would be a good alternate (215/45/R17)? Thanks
tvrgeek Posted February 25, 2011 Report Posted February 25, 2011 I am super happy with my RE960 standard all seasons. I carried a run flat as a spare. They are 205's rather than the 195. 16". Rational real street tires. OK, not as quick as summer gumballs, but still safe in the wet. I will be selling mine as I am about to trade my car in on a GTI and put the runflats back on. On 5 spoke OEM wheels with sensors of course.
Brian0758 Posted February 25, 2011 Report Posted February 25, 2011 I am a Bridgestone fan and the Potenza GO19 are great tires. I ran a trackday at VIR with them and they performed great. When I purchased my new rims It was cheaper to mount new tire and I cannot wait for the Kumho's to wear out. I want to put the GO19's back on my MINI. I just checked and Tirerack has them in the 205/45R17. 2012 Jeep Rubicon
