evantyler Posted December 28, 2024 Report Posted December 28, 2024 I know there are mixed feelings on the new countryman but I ended up falling in love with it once I test drove one, and then 250 miles later I was rear ended by an F150 as of now, it’s not totaled, but it’s going to be a long road as there have been none worked on in the country and waiting on parts from Germany…. hope to be back soon. also my 2024 JCW Clubman is now for sale…. SusieQ Posted December 30, 2024 Report Posted December 30, 2024 I am so sorry man, that is horrible! I feel your pain on the parts aspect at least. 250 miles in on my 1 to 6 edition and I hit a pothole and bent the wheel, Passport had no estimation on a new wheel since the car was still to new at the time and I'd have to wait for backorder stock to be available from Germany. Â (Obviously so much less damage than this, but that waiting game just sucks.) Hope they get you squared away soon.Â
STXMINI Posted December 30, 2024 Report Posted December 30, 2024 That’s awful Evan, first and foremost I hope you are ok? I’m very sorry this happened to you and to your new MINI. Hopefully it can be repaired or replaced quickly and you can get back on the road soon.Â
1975_mini Posted December 30, 2024 Report Posted December 30, 2024 Sorry to hear, it does look like the higher F150 resulted in the damage being mostly to the tailgate, and avoided to crash panels in the rear quarters. Hopefully this limits the parts needed to get back up and running. 1975 Mini 1000, 998cc A+ w/ K&N air filter, 10" Mamba wheels
