UPDATE: Though the winter weather did not effect the dc metro area, there was snow in the area we would be driving on the southwest portion of our route. Due to many of these roads being 600 series roads, they often are cleared by the sun. As we are unable to inspect the route prior to Saturday and temperatures remaining below freeze with the opportunity for a thaw and refreeze Friday into Saturday morning we will be postponing the drive. We will be rescheduling for April as the March schedule is pretty full. Thank you for your understanding.

 

After spending Valentine’s Day with that special someone its time for some quality time with our MINIs (Mistress). We will be meeting in the Kohl’s Parking lot in Burke, we will be heading southwest exploring many of the great twisties around Manassas and Warrenton as we wind our way for about an hour with a lunch stop in the Warrenton, VA area.

Start Point: Kohl's Parking lot

After lunch we will continue west and north through Culpeper and into wine country, the route is nearly approximately 1 hour and a half of continuous country roads that are a great combination of sweeping turns, rolling roads, and tight twisties while enjoying countryside views ending at one of the great wineries in the Hume area.

 

End Point: Three Fox Vineyard & Brewery: 10100 Three Fox Lane, Delaplane, VA 20144 (dog friendly establishment) 

 

They will also have the Pizza Barn open!!!
