TGGRRR (Ali) Posted June 29, 2018 Report Posted June 29, 2018 I just got this from Mike at PTuning, the mileage on the car is 43 miles, that's not a typo Hi Alicyn, She said car runs great, but a shop recently told her, the AC compressors needs to be replaced. Her husband usually take care of all her car stuff, but he recently passed away. She really doesn’t drive the MINI much except on nice days. Car overall looks like it’s in good condition. She said car start right up and runs good. I did take some pics of the rear bumper with some scuff She also said she feel safer if potential buyer can meet her at PTUNING. I told her, I’m fine with her meeting at the shop for the transaction. Lady name is Delores. Number is 703-361-2016 She’s asking $6500 or best offer. GreenCactus Posted June 29, 2018 Report Posted June 29, 2018 (edited) 43 miles? Just 43? How is that even possible? Also, can someone please clean the poor thing? I feel bad for it. Edited June 29, 2018 by GreenCactus
TGGRRR (Ali) Posted June 29, 2018 Author Report Posted June 29, 2018 Mike said it's an automatic too so he's afraid no one will buy it. If only we could keep collecting MINIs ... Tigger 2006 the cabrio and Riversong the 2014 Countryman
GreenCactus Posted June 30, 2018 Report Posted June 30, 2018 Someone will buy it... after they wash it!
ChrisTKD Posted July 12, 2018 Report Posted July 12, 2018 43 miles is impossible especially in light of the scuff marks. 43K would be possible but if the odometer says 43 then I would stay away. Your AC compressor fails in 43 miles? I think not.

I asked Mike at Ptuning and he said a car not driven can cause the compressor to fail and the car has not been garaged all of these years Tigger 2006 the cabrio and Riversong the 2014 Countryman
GreenCactus Posted July 12, 2018 Report Posted July 12, 2018 Is it possible they are looking at the trip odometer? I just can't believe this car only has 43 miles on it. It just doesn't make sense.
ChrisTKD Posted July 13, 2018 Report Posted July 13, 2018 A brand new car from the dealer could have 43 miles on it. Let's say it only had 15 miles. You drive it home. No one ever drives it but the husband performs maintenance. Then twelve years later you drive it for the first time to PTuning and now you have 43. Voila.

Mine had 8 when I picked her up but that doesn't add much to the math. Supposedly it never left Manassas Tigger 2006 the cabrio and Riversong the 2014 Countryman
