minirab Posted July 12, 2009 Report Posted July 12, 2009 To everyone running a 15% pulley. How often have you been replacing your belt. I have doing it once a year, but have been wondering if that is more than I need to. Thanks!
Edge Posted July 12, 2009 Report Posted July 12, 2009 To everyone running a 15% pulley. How often have you been replacing your belt. I have doing it once a year, but have been wondering if that is more than I need to. Thanks! Just curious - are you running the stock belt? If so, perhaps consider putting in a JCW belt instead... as I believe it is a bit shorter to accommodate the JCW pulley, which is not quite as small as the 15%, but at least the JCW belt would be a closer match than the stock belt! Maxicooper Posted July 12, 2009 Report Posted July 12, 2009 I replaced the belt every 20k. I use NAPA 25-060-535, which said to be slightly shorter than the JCW. It fits 15% pulley perfectly.
minirab Posted July 12, 2009 Author Report Posted July 12, 2009 No, I use the shorter NAPA belt, no slippage as of yet on this one.
