Drillslinger Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 Well, we bit the bullet and ordered a MegaMini stage 2 head. Gonna have the OE one rebuilt and if it's in good condition will try to find someone who needs one. Thanks for the help/advice!
DBeest Posted February 6, 2014 Author Report Posted February 6, 2014 Awesome. Where are you getting the car ECU tuned once you install the new head? I'm contemplating installing bigger fuel injectors to go along with my new JCW head but now without a tune.
Drillslinger Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 That's the beautiful thing about this stage 2, Chad assures me that even though the valves are bigger they're only slightly larger than std (+0.5mm Intake/+1.0mm Exhaust IIRC) so a tune is not necessary. Naturally, if we can get Jan over here in the Spring a tune would give me better gains but I shouldn't have any problems until then :motor:
