Price Posted December 29, 2011 Report Posted December 29, 2011 $26.99. I needed something at pepboys and out of curiosity checked out if they had oil filters for MINI. I think it's their most expensive AND the smallest (!!) filter available.
cmcveay Posted December 29, 2011 Report Posted December 29, 2011 Moss MINI and several other places have them for far less and with those, you usually get the O-Ring for the oil filter housing and a crush gasket for the oil pan drain plug. Team up with someone and buy a 1/2 dozen and they work out to be 6-8 bucks each. Price Posted December 30, 2011 Author Report Posted December 30, 2011 I know, oem from local MoA is ~$10, and other Purolators are even cheaper at the same pep boys. It's just for some reason the small MINI one is triple the price.

Stephatron Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 I found it funny that Advanced Auto Parts wanted $24.99. But you can get it cheaper online. I ordered mine from PTuning one day when I went with my friend for parts for his 370Z. I paid $8 and it came with the O-ring.
Price Posted January 27, 2012 Author Report Posted January 27, 2012 Well, talk about suspicious coincidences : as I was about to shop for oil/filter, MoA sent a coupon for a $59.99 oil change which I promptly used. The total came up to ~$68, which I think is bargain all thing considered.
