Low beam adjustment (standard)

Recommended Posts

My low beans are much too low and from what I have found on NAM, this is common from the factory. Everything I read there said that the adjustment is on the rear of the head light housing. I have a 2009 and the headlights are part of the frame. I have searched high and low and can find nothing that looks like the adjuster. On the inside of the wheel well there are two black screws on each side of the removable access disk, however there is another just like them much lower down, so I am guessing they must hold something on. Any one know where the low beam adjustment actually is?

Yes I did.

1) I have standard headlights.

2) I know when they are too low.

3) You have not seen my headlights.

If you don't want to answer the question then don't.

Jim,

It was a friendly question. No need to be snappy. I wasn't trying to be smart-ass.

I hope someone here can help you, but a tech question like this will probably be easier to answer via NAM. You said you already searched there, but if you didn't find what you wanted, I suggest posting the same question (if you already haven't).

I figured it out, so all is well with my world . (I'm not sure about the rest of the world, as I don't keep up with that anymore) :). If anyone else has this problem I posted a "How To" over on NAM.

Cool, hmm, that gives me an idea, maybe we need a how-to section here, any thoughts?
