Mach V Dan Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 Whoops, I'm ten days delinquent on my January 2011 special, so this one will extend through February. The new year's special is NM Engineering RS-a springs for MINI Clubman. Normally $249, on sale for $209. You MUST mention this offer, and you must come in to the shop to take advantage of this offer. (We'd be happy to install the springs, too. Just give us a ring to set up an appointment.) These springs are in stock now. --Dan Mach V FastMINI.net
chiefly1 Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 Dan, So how are these different from the springs currently on the Clubman? Mine's an 09.
orcadog Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 They lower the Clubby about an inch and provide "sharper handling characteristics".

TATTRAT Posted January 26, 2011 Report Posted January 26, 2011 Jono - you don't have a Clubman though... :hmmmm: DOH, I don't know why I thought these were R53 compatible(reading comprehension owned me, lol). Poo. Well, I will see if there is anything along those lines while I am hanging out. . .though, I had promised myself to get through the winter before any stance/suspension mods. I am not sure MINI makes for a good snow plow, lol. flickr
Scavenger Posted January 27, 2011 Report Posted January 27, 2011 It would be interesting to see what the differences are *if any*, the most likely change would be to take into account the Clubman's added weight, but other than that, they might actually fit just fine. Mach V Dan Posted January 30, 2011 Author Report Posted January 30, 2011 NM does make R56 coupe springs. They are different. If you put the Clubman springs on your coupe, it'll ride higher in the back. We do carry the coupe springs. They're not on special right now, though. NM does not make R53 springs. Sorry. For that we have H&R. --Dan Mach V FastMINI.net
