  1. Does anyone have an 11/16 slim wrench I could borrow? That seems to be the only tool I need that I don't have. I'm willing to buy one, but I'm running out of time to get one.

    This is what I have...about 1/4" thick

What do you need it for? How do you define thin? Does it need to be short, long, narrow? Box end, open end? Do you need a hammer to go with it?

  3. Yeah, true enough.

Haven't had any more battery drain warnings since I charged up the battery all the way. It's only been 2 days, though.

I did notice that this thing is really sensitive to battery drain, though. Yesterday, I turned on the ignition and within maybe 30 seconds it was yelling at me about low battery, and that it was going to disconnect the battery soon. Not sure how anyone is supposed to work on their car with it being that sensitive.

Just keep in mind that if the battery is going south, it will fail to maintain a charge and as Dan said, car electrics hate a discharged battery.

  4. My Countryman is True Blue, I have orange mirror caps and orange Dr Who graphics on it. Blue and orange go great together

Should we call you Dr Mini?

  5. After HH, we all walk back to the cars and talk about them, take selfies with them, take pictures of them together, maybe pop a bonnet or show off a mod. And if Craig (SneakyBaron) Michelle (SPlat) and I are there we'll talk about our love of orange. We have another orange person but she doesn't make a lot of happy hours

I would have bought my Clubby in the Volcanic Orange if it was available :frown: as I am also an orange lover. I'm contemplating getting orange center caps for the wheel, but might need an opinion from the group if it would go with the Digital Blue.....

  6. Hi! We do like to park together :) We'll be on the 3rd floor of the Target Garage. Most of the time at Ted's we're in front bar area. Hope to see you there!

Thanks! Hope to make it also.....

  7. Hi Folks,

As new to this group, I have some questions. I haven't ever associated with a group such as this that is car centric and am unsure of some of the protocols. Call me a newbie! For this happy hour, parking is at the Target Garage. Does everyone try to park together or is this just a suggested parking location? Once I find the restaurant, since I won't know anyone, how do I find you?

    Thanks!

  8. be careful selecting the correct LED bulbs. I converted a number of bulbs in the front of the car to LED and have been getting the flickering effect. BMW electronics don't like voltage changes so you may need to find correct type of bulb that includes a regulator.

I had to replace some fog light bulbs on my wife's car (non-BMW/Mini) and want to replace with LED. Found this site http://www.jdmastar.com/ which coincidentally carries bulbs that they claim will not code on BMWs/Minis. The bulbs (to replace Halogens) I ended up getting look and work very nicely.
