I cant say specifically for the hooks, as I haven't looked at them, but You might want to try and put a mat or blanket (not folded) or a towel laid across the seat before installing... it catches a LOT of spillage. Does your snugride have the European type push on connectors or the tear shaped loop with one open side on the belt?

Hello, I'm new here and looking for info before I purchase a mini. What is considered high miles? Anyone rolling around with 220k +? No, the mini I'm looking at isn't near that, but I like to have a LOT of time on my purchases.

Have you had a chance to run the lights and see if your light pattern is still good or is it more diffuse than when it was new? Is the light output vastly improve?
