I'd actually be very interested in a detailing clinic. Being that this is the first car I've owned that I cared about the way it looks and the longevity of those looks, I'd like to know how to keep it looking new as long as possible. Don't ask how often I got my last car washed.....

When I was there a few weeks ago, the discount was on products and not service. Although I only got the hand wash which was $35 so I was fine that not being discounted.

The 2D JCW has an updated engine and interior. Nothing wrong with the JCW Countryman, but the updates are the reason I went with the 4D instead of the Countryman.

Saw a really nice 2D JCW that was dark gray with black stripes and a black top on 395 South Monday on the way home. Why couldn't they make the 4D a JCW model too?!

Will he need to know ahead of time if I want the 50/35 or 50/50?

My kids really enjoyed waving at you Craig. Your car looks and sounds great. They also demanded I roll the windows down so they could hear the sounds of the cars. I love that they're burgeoning petrol heads.

I find myself in a curious position. My old car probably got a bath 4 times a year. I just washed my new one for the second time and started thinking about what the best products out there are to make it look tip top every time. I currently only have Mothers wash/wax. What are the products you guys swear by?

So, as you guys know I am the proud owner of a brand new 4-door hardtop Cooper S. I was wondering if any of you have made modifications or done tunes to new MINIs and what your experience with the dealership has been like. I was looking at the NM Engineering Power Module as an easily removable option but I was wondering what else is out there in the same vein. I could just go and get stripes for a +/- 25 HP boost though....

I only got a split second look. It had black hood stripes and sounded nice but, I was more concerned with not hitting the police that were getting out of their cars as I left my mothers neighborhood. BTW, has anyone in Fairfax City noticed a whole lot more police out and about since the end of last week?

Saw a nice orange MINI on Old Lee Highway last night around 11. Wasn't able to tell if it was a convertible or a coupe, but it had rally lights.

I waved no less than three times to a roadster with personal plates on 395 yesterday. can't remember them exactly, mini-rod or something like that. Didn't even turn her head.

I have to say, it seems like no one on the roads in NoVA respond to waves....

As it turns out, I have two exhaust systems for my new car. As I only have the one car, I won't be needing one of the exhausts. If anyone is interested in it, let me know. Thanks!
