Donross, there's a person on the event fb page who has hotels but can't go. She's looking for people who may want to take over the reservations.
I managed to work out some good Military rates for Pitt and Detroit Living in Baltimore has the benefit for me this MTTS. Next time i'll take off early and cruise to the send off point.

For those that are not using the 'partnered hotels', where are you staying?
Guess i'm a little behind the power curve in booking a bed.

Thanks so much for hosting this tiny party Jamie I was great to hear you talking up your countryman, again, the stripes you added are awesome!!!
Sorry I booked it out of there so quickly when my car was finished, prego wife needed water and something to snack on....happy wife means I live another day

Very true! Just not in the budget now as I need a bumper as well.

Might want to call up pick n pulls around Fredericksburg, I recall 6-7 MINIs between the two yards there. 04-06 if my memory serves me right

Thanks. Found a gearbox last night and picking up shortly. Sucks to spend money on something that is not for performance. [emoji53]

But while you have that open, perhaps Valeo and LSD? That's performance related. :top:

Nice! I've gone there for training 4 separate times since 2001... always the same venue. They do have classes here in the DC area but I believe it's best to get away from your usual environment so you can better concentrate. I'll be back there soon for the MCSE Server 2012 2-week boot camp.
Good luck on the CCNA! Is Valerie still running things on-site?
Valerie is still running things. Brian D'Andrea is my instructor (guess he has been teaching here since 2003 or something). Not sure if he'll be your guy or not, you're further up the chain than I. I was told the same thing about getting away from your normal environment, helps to be removed so you can focus on studying (which is why i have limited myself to only this site for internet )

Bushkill? What a coincidence! I've been there a number of times, and will be there again soon... I wonder if it's for the same reason... it's a pretty small place, now I'm curious - it wouldn't happen to be for The Training Camp, would it?
As a matter of fact, yes i'm here for Training Camp. Here to hopefully earn my CCNA. First time here and a lot of things are really making sense as I haven't really had proper training on this networking stuff.

Today, before heading to Bushkill PA, I replaced lower motor mount, idler pulley, crank sensor O ring, a.c. compressor coil, did a oil change, balanced out the AC system. For the first time since I've owned the car (just over a year) I have AC and it's wonderful.
Just need to do the shiftwell cover and slap some more decals and she's ready for MTTS.

Got my windshield replaced...Rock chip the began a nice crack all across the bottom. $100 to Safelite it is.

What time slot do you want? Beverly and Jaime live there so they don't mind moving
The earlier the better. I don't want to conflict with someone's slot if that is what they prefer (I thought first come first serve), But if they are willing to let me squeeze in, that would be awesome. :top:
Thank you.

We still have a few slots for part 2
Me! I'm in.

What Mike said is correct. If you're tinting the car anyway he charges $25 more if you want the windshield strip. If you only do the windshield strip it's $50
Thank you for clearing that up...it's been one of those Mondays :banghead:
I'll let you resume your normally scheduled motoring. :motor:

I'm trying to understand the pricing on get the R53 done. Is it: 2 door cars $130 (1 hourish) + Ceramic tint $40= $170?
What is the $25 with the car/ $50 on its own charge? If i'm there to move the car, is it less? Sorry if i'm reading to much into this, just trying to determine how much to bring. Thanks

I park on a Hill, though I primarily use the ebrake and not in gear, I put a chock behind my tire.
For my house though, I back down my driveway (hill) and face upward when I park.

He may not respond as he's moved on to a different ride, not trying to speak for anyone.
I purchased this from him just after the New Year.

Hello DCMM Fam,
SO...with MOTD right around the corner i'm in a holding pattern with my future suspension setup. Right now I'm on stock setup on my 06 MCS. I ordered a set of H&R performance/lower springs a few months back, but never made it around to installing them. Well, going with what I thought was going to be definitive suspension setup of BC coilovers, i was going to bring the Springs to MOTD and put them up for sale. Well, talking with our good buddies at PTuning (and taking into consideration DC and Baltimore lack of smooth roads) i'm having second thoughts about going the coilover route.
I plan on enjoying track days in this car and of course the occasional spirited drive. Just curious what any of you all think or advise from personal experience.
Thanks in advance for insight :top:

I'm heading down Tuesday with the point of taking Skyline Drive (lived here for 5 years and haven't been)
-
16% pulley, 4% crank pulley new belt, Flashpoint MK1 Header, Supercharger service & new waterpump (new gaskets and seals), rear seat removal (maybe) with dynamat, new brake pads, and a proper cleaning/detailing. I also have a 2.5" Catback that i may install if the Header and 1-ball mod doesn't please my ears
I have this in the box, not sure if i'll install though:

Also bought into the GP Wing Run, might get that slapped on before MOTD:

He's good people! I think you'll get it if he hasn't filled the spots

If anyone is still looking, our canadian celebrity Xiek has the bunk bedroom open in his cabin. If you're on Facebook and interested, message Jason Xiek Hurdle. I'm not sure what he's charging, but it sure sounds like it would be a more suitable than a bathtub
Thank you, I sent him a message. Hopefully I win

Just my 2 pesos...
Not meant to conflict with any previous responses.
1. Don't overcommit to runs (drives)
2. Don't commit to large mod project on vendor row
3. Spend plenty of time on vendor row learning about mods, maintenance and shopping
4. Fontana Village is where it's at... I'll sleep on a couch there before I EVER sleep in a luxury suite somewhere else  (some folks camp!)
I'm sure there's more....
DAMN, I'm excited! (I've missed 2 or 3 years now)
1. I'm only slated for 1 drive each day, Really excited for the Coaster on the first day
2. looking to have 'modest' mods done before i go [PTuning is going to take care of me]
3. Hoping to do this in the off times, looking forward to seeing a bunch of vendors in one spot
4. I'm doing my best on this...everywhere is booked up. Worse case I pitch a tent  i couldn't resist saying that.
When is everyone cruising down?
