I'm not worried because the Dragon Newbies taste better to the bears
Maybe I should spread some guacamole on your window to distract them?
-
I'm pretty sure you'll live through it, but the BEARS!!!! Do you have anyone to act as bear bait band sleep near the window?
maybe I'll just tie some bear bells to the window and take my chances!
-
I suppose one of the disadvantages to waiting so long to make up my mind is that all these are probably full. :banghead:
If help is needed, I'll do my best to provide!
-
you won't regret it. where are you staying?
I'm sharing a cabin with a guy from Sunshine State Minis...
Odds are, neither of us are axe murderers.
-
Does this mean you're coming????
I do believe it does...I just secured lodging for most of the week, so I guess I'm committed now...
-
hmmmmmm..... is this a new signature I have???
-
Sadly, appears to be out of stock.
They do have it in Red:biggrin:
I haven't seen this site yet, and I do like some of their badges... might just have to get me one!
-
a wonderful eve...thanks Ali for the organization. (and letting me sit at the table 'o hot women!!!

I am remaining optimistic. But with the parade tomorrow, I'm not expecting much.
Well, regardless, come out and Kart! We will all have fun, and you can commiserate with fellow MINIacs.... I remember all too well Sonja's excruciating journey across the Atlantic...
-
Yeah. I don't think it will make it. They say it takes at least 3 days at the VDC. :banghead:
FWIW, Sonja came to me after less than one day at the Baltimore VDC.....
Dare to dream, for dreams are but reality perfected.

Sounds awesome Ali! Thanks for being all responsible and stuff!
-
oooh.... I like that idea. I think the top three should definitely get some cash.

Catalina, does the water temperature gauge needle read at the middle (the mini gauge doesn't read anything but dead center unless it's way cold or way hot. . .apparently there are less repair inquiries this way) after 20 minutes or is it still pegged at zero?
If it's at the midpoint, you should be pumping out heat. Have you checked your coolant levels (only do it when the engine is cool!
Even if you're seeing near-zero temps (assuming there's not ridiculous wind) your car should be warming up as sits and idles.
You have a water temperature gauge????
I'm jealous!

Ok, so it looks like I'm in, but how do I get you the money???
Just a reminder to everyone, only 9 more days to sign up and get us slated for the Sprint Kart racing. If we do not make this dead line we will have to limit the amount of drivers to only 11! We currently have 8 paid in full members, not including Wahoo_shoe's check that is in the mail (+2). So really we only have one more spot to fill. :motor: -
ya im coming from work so causal dearlship attire...
looks like my dads gonna be stuck at work and miss the fun tonight but pedro will be there! had some complications this morning with one of STKRS tires :banghead:
sweet! I've been waiting to meet Pedro!

Dangit, didn't see that. No, just a recipe I've used a few times. Back to the drawing board
Battle of the BBQ!!!!
-
Well, gee.... only a couple of days away and I have zero idea on what to bring for the potluck. Perhaps some homemade bread?
-
a rather enjoyable combination of weather, booze, fire, and lack of pants is keeping me home today....
Enjoy the dinner everyone!

Ah Ha! after a bit 'o research, it appears that there are two types of keys: those for use with Comfort Access and those without. Comfort Access keys are *not* rechargeable, whilst Non-CA keys are. My key does, in fact, have a removable battery and no "terminals" with which to charge. (unless the regular fobs use induction charging, which I doubt)
I'm pretty sure that there is probably something similar for all the other info, but I don't know... yet.
-
Another benefit... as I understand it, that is how your keyfob gets recharged. If you never ever put it in the dash, eventually the battery inside will be empty and the buttons won't work any more.
I may be wrong, but that's how I believe it is.
another interesting feature, although I never use the buttons, so I guess I would never know if they need recharging.
I absolutely love the fact that I never have to take my keys out of my pocket. I'm considering putting a keypad on my front door so that I don't need a key for that, either!
-
I absolutely love this feature on Lola.
@TheMichael, one of the perks of putting your key in every once in a while, especially before dropping it off for service is it tracks some computer data for the SA to look at.
Really? what would it track that wouldn't track otherwise? I'm somewhat interested in the details of this...
-
reeealllly....
easy to get, or reserve a year in advance?
-
actually, that begs the question: is there camping?
-
Well, I have comfort access and I have never inserted the keys to start my vehicle. I guess probably I should, just make sure that they work but I have yet to really feel the need.
My guess is that you don't have comfort access. If you did, you should never have to insert the key. Since you do have to insert the key, I think that it's just not off long enough for it to matter, but I really don't know.

As I was poking around the dragon site I noticed that they have a skeet shooting outing, but it is already full. Is anyone interested in forming an ad-hoc outing while we're up there? Looking at the sport club site, I think it's quite doable and would also be rather fun, and the prices are reasonable as well.
