  1. Right on!

Btw, again, I really appreciate you stopping by, and handing off the short shifter! It was great to meet you, and I look forward to seeing you out on some runs once I get myself put back together.

You guys had a great afternoon, by the sounds of it. But, a bad day of turning wrenches is better than a good day of work. I love working on cars.

Not a problem, gave me another reason to drive Gremlin a little more.

Wow, that looks so solid. Love that look. Can't wait for nutty to get dropped.. someday..someday.....

    Someday, like "TO"day?

  2. I'm looking for white PD as well. I'd take them off your hands too.

I'll definitely pick up one or more of the white if you have any left.. I was planning on striping the sides with a "ghost" matte white- Think that will look good..

    When are you available?

I think I have 3 cans left, I know for sure I have at least 2. I'm available all weekdays after 5pm. Or I can bring them with me to the Saturday meet.

Let the bidding war begin!

  3. I got the privilege of being behind Gremlin on the run today. Mark and I were admiring the stance and the boot. Then there was the rumble, I especially liked the combined rumble of our Tigger and Gremlin's exhaust together.

    Looking Good!!! :top:

Unfortunately I'm still deaf and I can barely hear my own exhaust, wish I could have heard them N'Sync. Yeah I went there, what of it?

  4. I just checked the "What's Picking" page at Great Country Farms. Not pumpkins. :(

Honey crisp apples can be picked.

I'm not changing the name of the run to the Great Apple Run, though.

They did have Punkin Picking, my daughter picked two.

  5. Picssssss

I would have taken pics, but I had to get home to wash the car before I get made fun of by Craig for not washing Gremlin before a meet.

I think Mike is still trying to find a tripod that's low enough to do this justice! We had to laugh when he took the car off the jack stands the first time. Not only was there no wheel gap, the rubber was STUFFED! I'm pretty sure a #2 pencil would have been an obstacle! Back up in the air, adjustments to be made.

We'll get some pics at the pumpkin-less pumpkin run later today. We might be able to get a few of the lowered cars together for it.

It was pretty funny watching the car go down and not being able to pull the floor jack from underneath. If I had the bonnet closed majority of the tire would be tucked.

I get off work at 9am, So a few redbulls And I may see you guys for the start of the run! Can wait to see pics if I cant make it out haha

I'm not slammed or anything, just low enough to reduce the amount of wheel gap and still make it a reasonable DD.

  6. I surrender! Compared to you guys - AND YOU Brandy, I am a PD Novice... That really was a nice look you had there Mike! Very impressive.

Now ideas are percolating and the fall colors run is coming up soon...

I've PD 1 Honda civic in black, my MINI white/black, and a set of wheels in Blaze Orange. Yes Ali, there is a bright Orange.

Craig are your ideas staying a secret? Or will you fill us in on your devious plans?

  7. wow, that came out really good

    Thanks, it took some time.

very nice!!! like the b&w. i thought you had a new exhaust?

This was a while ago, I took off the PD before I started going to DCMM meets.

so how many cans did that take? Lol

    16 cans I think..?

    Good Lord!

Do the Plasti Dip people know the cult like following they have? WOW!

Is that a WHITE plati-dipped MCS?? From the camera shots, I gotta say, Damn, looks pretty nice for a driveway job, would LOVE to see it in person, and take a real look at it. Only thing I would have done different, is left the rear inserts to each side of the reverse lights black. . .but I mean, wow, that's pretty damn good for a lot job(I would send PD Pics!).

My Li'illi Ka'a has been sitting, Dad used it for the time he was here helping me post-op, and glad to have it being turned over. BUT, I finally managed to make the walk out to the resident lot I had to park it at, in my space(My handicapped pass is in use by Dana so she can tote me around) and was doing a walk around. . . .my poor MINI, it's in such sad shape, if it made me want to cry, I can only imagine how SHE feels. . .

It had had a day with Mr.Rockwell at Alexandria getting all new brakes, rotors, and a few other lil things, so I wanted to just SEE my MINI. . . My. MINI. IS. FILTHY.

My rims, that I did well over a year ago, look like they might be in need of some TLC and this thread has certainly got me thinking of the PD route.

Does the PD dry texture free? Is it a flat product? For some reason I have always though of it as more of a spray in bed liner type "paint", you know, with a little texture to it, or am I way off in this assumption?

Never sent pictures to the PD company, but they do know of the PD following that's why they're coming out with so many different product lines.

PD is a rubberized spray an when it dries it is in a "flat"...think of a texture of a black garbage bag but flat on the exposed side.
