  1. Tagged a red Gen2 MCS in the parking lot of Potomac Mills shopping center with rally lights and white windshield wipers around 3:30 pm today.

edit: Also tagged a black Gen2 MCS by the Burger King in the Potomac Mills shopping center plaza, it had a small Harley Davidson sticker on the bottom right of the boot window.

  2. Looks like the other buyers decided to back out because they didn't respond to my emails.

This is what's available to buy:

    3 Orange MINI's at $5.00 each

    2 Brown MINI's at $7.00 each

I'm not adding to the purchase price, you're just paying price without taxes.

Send me a PM if interested in picking any of them up. I will not meet up, unless it's at a DCMM posted meet.

  3. ugh, that's a lotta chrome.

Did you see the note that too much chrome is actually illegal in many states?

I don't know if it was posted here, but someone actually had a MINI Cooper painted chrome for his wife but was illegal in whatever country/state they are in.

    Here are some Google images:

  4. Im at Hershey Park in PA, and thought I'd see if anyone was interested in me picking them up a Hershey's chocolate MINI Cooper Hot Wheels size car for their collection. I plan on picking up a couple for myself, if you want one shoot me an email and I can pick one up for you, and we work out payment later.

Thought I would offer since I'm already out here.

    Each MINI cost $7.00

  5. i saw Michael's (68wmcs) MINI park off Jones road off duke street not to long ago. it looking good like the stripes

I was there, I did see a lot of MINI's down in that area.

edit: Thanks, I did the stripes and pin striping myself.

  6. I've removed and put suede in my 04 Subaru STi. It's a pain if you don't know what you're doing, but saves a lot of money if you DIY. I used 3M spray adhesive and a glue gun.

This DIY is for a Subaru but applying the fabric is the same, I used the same method but I added a glue gun for all the corners to make sure it doesn't sag.

If you have any questions or plan on doing it yourself, let me know and maybe we can work out a day were I can help.

    Good luck! :motor:

  7. Many, many moons ago I had one in my '84 Dodge Colt Turbo (an old school pocket-rocket) and it worked great, but I would think it would be too big of a footprint in the MINI. I take it you don't have a Light-N-Sight in there, eh?

    Love the red seat pulls.

No I don't have a light in sight, but it does sit higher than the OEM rear view mirror. I haven't removed the OEM mirror, it's angled so I can see my daughter in the back seat.

  8. Looks good! Love the stripes. That fabric is really cool. Where did you find it? It would make a cool pillow :)

I don't give out my sources!!!

Ok, you talked me into telling you. Ebay search "mini cooper fabric" and you'll see it.

Hmm, I do have enough left over to make a decent size "in car" pillow...

  9. First, a mod not EVERYONE will like 5-panel rear view mirror

Love it because there are no blind spots!
