That's why they invented tab browsing. I usually have this site + Motoring Alliance + Twitter + Motoring Connection up all at the same time. I never open Facebook. <-- I really hate that site. NAM gets opened once in a while but it's kinda dead.

All, Check out http://MOTORINGCONNECTION.com - a social network for MINI owners! MOTORING CONNECTION is a social community like facebook for MINI owners only. It's kinda blowing up. 175 signups in under 24 hours. Get you name secured while you can. So far it's a blast. A bunch of folks from Motoring Alliance are there and many of the clubs are registering there as well. It'd be nice to see DCMM have a presence there.

Sorry folks. I had my default thread notification set to "zippy". You found the Facebook page which has some info, not a lot. It's supposed to be really good folks, laid-back atmosphere and two main runs. One easy going and one "spirited". The location brings a lot of TN, NC and GA folks together. A smattering of southern VA and coastal folks as well. Hotel rates are reasonable and I may convince Way of Way Motor Works to put my rear sway bar on! If anyone does end up going, shoot me a PM so we can get together while we are there. Mike

Is anyone from DCMM attending Helenblitz this year. I am going with my wife. I've met a number of really nice folks over at MA and I hope to meet some of you as well at the photo shoot in February. We're heading down on Thursday the 16th at around 6AM. Taking "Cadbury" (my chocolate MINI) down and parking "Emma Frost". If anyone wants to convoy down, let me know.

1st Timers. My wife and I are a two MINI family. Only bringing "TAZ!". "Emma Frost" is staying home! We are staying at the Lodge and sharing a room with a couple from the PittsStop Crew from Pittsburgh. I have a friend on MA that has 2 or 3 spots left in a large cabin. There will be around 10 total in the cabin but its big and it'll break down to like $105 a head for the stay. That's $105 for the entire stay not per night. Leaves you more cash for the MINI gear binge. Give me your contact info and I'll put you in touch.
