Laura (club president) has a ton of them, she can send them to you.
I've literally stalked people in a parking lot so that I could hand them a card in person and tell them about the club. So far everyone has been very friendly but I have no idea if any of them have actually joined.
I love tagging MINI's!:itsme:
Now to just get more of them to wave
-
You're so grrrr baby!!
Can't wait to see them
-
not much under the bonnet other than cleaning, really ... etc., etc. ...
I said the same thing, then I drove Craig's Kooper. Oy! now I am planning my next engine mods, and I thought I would just decorate him.
-
Did you see photographers when you were out? Maybe they don't have all of their pics up yet.
I hate the interface on all of the sites, it's very cumbersome and was making me nuts.

Brian some of the pics I bought have shots of you in them. It's from the run with You, me, Craig and Marty

I ordered some electronic pics and the CD came fast. I've already uploaded them to Facebook. I love the quality of the pics, very sharp and in focus and great color.

ahhh that's good to know.
OK, so are we going to caravan from VA to Towson?
-
Isn't Towson north of Baltimore? I was hoping maybe we could get a group to run from down here.

I still can't believe the dealer would miss that. It took Way all of a few seconds to see it.
the windshield graphic looks great!

It is the same building style as Passport MINI. I like the black, it looks mean!

At the panoramic photo, I heard Ali telling someone that she drove Kooper back down the Dragon and after that, she had to get a pulley put on Tigger... Now it's being blamed on Edge!
Hey Craig you still get credit for the final push to get the pulley. OK, before I drove Kooper I had no intention of doing any engine mods at all, it really is all your fault.
Edge is now just baiting me to get more, more, more.....
Just wait till Tigger hits the Dragon next year :motor:
-
It's not like anyone ever wants to sit in the back anyway. My dogs are the only ones comfortable back there.

What about shock tower plates? Do you have any?
I don't even know what a shock tower plate is. Last time I got into car engines was in the early 80's and engines were very different back then.
It's going to take me years to get Tigger all fast and modded up, I plan to enjoy each and every step of it. I was thinking Cold Air Intake next or exhaust because I love the sounds of some of the beefier exhausts.

Hopefully Scoopie can come next year and get some presents
-
I'm so confused, I don't even know which to do next...
I guess that could be a whole other thread.
Exhaust, cold air intake, suspension, brakes..... oh and I can't forget the sway bar
Ali
-
...and now technically you're ahead of Ali since you already have intake and exhaust.
However, enough can not be said about the fact that brakes and suspension are just as (if not more) important!
Ooooh how you bait me. I'll catch up, just give me some time

Brian got his pulley installed because he saw Tigger getting a pulley. Way told Brian that Tigger was going to be faster and suddenly Brian was the next in line.
I got the pulley and the flames :-)
Tigger's first mod

I saw you Alan, and Daniel and Celia and wolftoy
There were a ton of us there, good pics too
I found pics of me driving Tigger up the Dragon and Koop coming down the Dragon.

There are a ton of pics of DCMM members riding the Dragon on Friday. Lots of good pics too.

We did the lazy bonnets up in the parking lot of the Microtel. There were 2 gen ones so we each raised our bonnets at dark and took the pics. It was fun even if we weren't on the dragon.

I had a blast the whole time. Tigger got his first mod and the flames. After that long drive home I washed and did a quick wax with slick just to see him all pretty and free of the road grime.
I learned a ton about my car and love it even more now. I still smile every time I hear the new sound of the engine from my new pulley or when I see those flames!!! What to do next?
I drove the Dragon twice once before the pulley and once after, there was a difference for sure. I really noticed it going home on the big up hills, Tigger was keeping up much easier.
I uploaded a slew of pics

Thanks to Craig, Marty and Rick for leading us home. I've never done a caravan like that before. It was way better then driving alone. Can't wait for next year.

I just spoke with Bill who has the bolts and is bringing them tomorrow. So not sure if you're getting one or two sets but better then none :-)
-
Tali and I are working together to try and accomplish this. He's calling now to see if the parts are in stock, if they are, he's picking them up and bringing them to me in DC at my work.
I'll bring them with me and have them to Fontana by tomorrow
It's the MINI network at it's finest. I will let you know more after he calls and confirms that he has the part.

If MINI of Annapolis can transfer the bolts to Passport MINI I can get them and bring them with me. Passport is 3 miles from my house. We leave tomorrow night so I could get there right before 6:00
Let me know if that would work.
My cell is 703-201-6899 if you can get them to do the transfer.
