Thanks for the info. My other much cheaper choice is to use a Yakima rack off the rear, but the JCW plastic wind thingie obscures the rear hatch metal edge where the top clips go. Any thoughts about a rear rack system? d

I am returning my leased 5 series wagon soon and will be relying completely on my JCW. I just did a 1200 mile trip up and back to VT and had a blast. You will not go wrong.
