  1. Thanks. The song is called "Falling" (Erik's Fallen Angel Mix) by Peyton. It's from the album Beach Angel. (compiled by Mark Doyle founder of Hed Kandi)
  2. Awesome day to be driving those local roads. I was following MTY MINI (props for coming up with the original route) for most of the drive to Griffin Tavern. Thought I'd share the short clip taken by my wife during the 1st stage of the run. Makes me wish
  3. I was with the fam in annapolis last night. Just for kicks I decided to stop by Mini of Annapolis after hours. Saw the Mayfair for the first time parked in the lot. The wifey loves it but I still want the JCW. Nicely specd for 30 grand but I'm not a fan of the same colored top and the white interior. Our little one's gonna have a merry time with it if we do get that white interior....
  4. thanks for the advice guys...i got my eye set on getting the 2010 jcw once spring 2010 rolls around. gonna keep the suv until end of winter as insurance :stupid:
  5. great costumes for all the mini...saw cricket and the group outside the dealership. went inside to ogle the minis in the showroom but by the time I went out to say hi to everyone you were all gone.
  6. I don't think I've bumped into you yet but if you see a pw cooper with checked side mirrors waving at you in the Germantown area it's going to be me:rock:
  7. I went to the dealership with intent to trade in the R56 cooper (auto) since I felt it needs more horses. After test driving the JCW I realized that this beast of a car might be too much for the Mrs. to handle. Thats what made me hesitate in getting the car this afternoon. Now I am seriously contemplating of trading in my Infiniti FX for a JCW so me and the Mrs. would have our own mini's each. I know I'm going to be losing the extra space and comfort if I go for the JCW but the works cars is just soo much FUN! :motor: Sorry for the rant but I just want to hear others opinion and what you would do if you were in my shoes... :questionmark:
  8. I saw Krut on Pacific Blvd heading back to the shop as I was leaving the dealership this afternoon. Didnt get a chance to wave since I saw him too late. I am the one in the pw cooper with checkered side mirrors.
  9. saw a lot of minis today..the two that stood out was the orange cooper convertible in the parking lot of pepboys in germantown, her driver purchased an "ed hardy" steering wheel cover.. the other one was a r53 cooper chili red with white top driven by an older couple in rockville pike near gude dr. that cooper had custom "belgian flag color" side mirror caps on it. couldn't wave to any of them since I wasnt driving our mini at that time.
  10. Hi Everyone, I was considering powder coating my 16" stock cooper wheels into black or gunmetal grey. I was just wondering if anyone has shop reccomendations for these kind of jobs? Thanks in advance!
  11. I saw a BRG mini with black/gun metal spokes a few days ago in Middlebrook road and 355 intersection in Germantown. Is that your mini by any chance?
  12. Saw a pepper white cooper with checkered side mirrors southbound on 270 today. Waved to each other when our cars were next to each other during todays rush hour traffic.
  13. Yup. It was the ladies who chose venue that night. Place is nice but my favorite Frederick restaurant would still be the Tasting Room.
  14. I had dinner with friends living on 2nd street that night. They took me to Volt so we were just across the street from you then. I parked maybe a block behind you that time. Weather was perfect that Saturday.
  15. I saw a horizon blue jcw last saturday parked near the tasting room in frederick,md. It's my first time seeing a jcw in that colorway.
