True - and I too have a Subaru Outback with a hitch that I installed myself - but the MINI is simply too tightly packaged. Anyways, when not in use the license plate covers the hole.

I don't think you can improve on the MINI Do More system if you are opposed to the Mini Fini.

Richard took pictures at every step of the way: before, after, 50/50, etc. Perhaps he will post them?

I had Way install the ATI crank damper that I had recently purchased from him. And Richard Lin of Show Car Detailing in Anaheim treated me to a demonstration of Black Wow on my trim and Sonax on my very dirty wheels.

This week I DIYed oil and filter changes on my MINI and on my Lexus. MINI (of Sterling) charges more than TWICE what Lexus charges for a filter.

Anyone have a low-mileage OE crank damper for sale? Paranoid about mine at 117K but hate to pay $400 for a new one (OE or ATI).

My '04 MCS does what you describe. Seems like it might stall, but doesn't. I have never gotten a good answer, but because a simple blip of the throttle immediately makes the problem go away, I haven't worried about it.

Chris: Please don't take offense, but it sounds to me as if you would benefit greatly from an experienced installer for the electrical portion of your lights. Messing with the electrical system on a MINI can be a costly undertaking if you don't know exactly what you're doing. If you are determined to do this by yourself, there are a number of DIY sites on NAM and elsewhere that can walk you through the process. The search feature is your best friend.
