Sounds like the CD player spinning (no CD's in slot). Can run for 5 minutes before stopping for no reason. Anyone know what it might be? I have a 2013 JCW CM w 20K miles on the clock that I bought used a few months ago and has been there since I bought the car
ChrisTKD Posted October 2, 2014 Report Posted October 2, 2014 No clue. But you are still under the maintenance and warranty programs, correct? I'd ask the dealer to check it out when you take it in for your scheduled oil change.
RDG_RCR Posted October 2, 2014 Report Posted October 2, 2014 Could it be the fuel pump priming? Usually doesn't last longer than 10 secs though (this is typical of other sports cars). Not exactly sure with the MINI.
