MarkDDrew Posted August 28, 2014 Report Posted August 28, 2014 So, Ray, NYRican MC40, and I have been tossing around the idea of going Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) this summer and thought Labor Day would be the perfect opportunity before the weather starts to cool. A good, relatively inexpensive, place to rent a board is at Pohick Bay regional park, so we're going with that. Hopefully we can get some calmer water too. fees for the paddle board rentals are cash only There is a park entrance fee per car if you aren't a resident of Alexandria, Arlington, City of Fairfax, Fairfax County, Falls Church or Loudoun If anyone is interested and wants to caravan down let me know. We can meet up at the Panera at Edsall Road and 395 around 8:30 for some coffee and/or breakfast, then roll out a little before 9:30. Usually that's an afternoon thing, but we might have to bail if it looks bad.
