SneakyBaron Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 (edited) I took off last Friday to go down to the Blacksburg/Radford area to visit my brother who is there for his new job for a few months. So I decided to take Skyline Drive on the way down Friday, me and him would do the Back of the Dragon on Saturday, and then to get home I would go Blue Ridge Parkway. Got very luck with the rain holding off all day Friday. Then Saturday it looked like it was going to rain all day, but very luckily it stopped as we neared Tazwel and only sprinkled a little bit once or twice till we were on our way back up to Tazwel. Sunday it sprinkled a little as I neared Blue Ridge, then held off till I hit 64. Saw a good amount of wildlife that the GoPro in time-lapse of coarse missed each one. Saw a good sized hawk and huge wild turkey. Almost hit two deer, a huge fox, and a rattle snake(somehow heard its rattle with the windows open going about 45 from almost a whole lane over). Started with around 1500-1600 miles and ended with about 2300. While I work on converting and uploading the GoPro stuff here is the pictures I took with my phone.
