hey everyone so today i am looking to see if someone with gen 2 brake calipers might be upgrading to a bbk and if you are i would like to buy your gen 2 mcs calipers. i am looking to upgrade my brakes and gen 2 calipers are pretty much a bbk for gen 1. i am willing to pay a reasonable amount for them not a arm and a leg, also looking for them to be in good condition (working correctly)

thanks

Chris - just be aware... first of all, you'll specifically want the S brakes, not the Cooper brakes, if you're going to try to put 2nd Gen brakes on your 1st Gen. Secondly, the brake line connector to the calipers did get changed between gens, so you'll also need custom brake lines to enable this (i.e. 1st gen on the car end, 2nd gen on the caliper end). That's what I had to do for my big brake upgrade.

I just wanted to give you a heads up so you are prepared for what it takes.
