TGGRRR (Ali) Posted May 25, 2012 Report Posted May 25, 2012 Hillary Isn't your MINI new? They may just cover that under warranty. Call Passport and ask for David Rockwell, he's always the one that helps me out. Ali Tigger 2006 the cabrio and Riversong the 2014 Countryman
CHILLIN Posted May 25, 2012 Report Posted May 25, 2012 These plates are on my WRX not the Mini. I ordered another set of my personalized plates since I've had the original set for about 15 years now. They were getting pretty faded. I wanted to move them to Johnny and didn't want to put old faded plates on a new car.
Bert Posted May 25, 2012 Report Posted May 25, 2012 Make sure that you go out to the local Ace or True Value Hardware store and buy Stainless Steel license plate screws. You can even get painted ones, if you like (black, white, others?). It doesn't cost that much for 8 screws. Take a screw from the front plate and back plate in with you since mine are different (from front to back) on my MINI (one is a machine thread and the other a sheet metal thread).
