I just took my car in for two new tires, rotation/balance and alignment. I asked whether they still offer a discount to DC Metro Mini Members. The service rep didn't know and had to check. He texted me back and stated: "Parts said tires are excluded but I can see what we can do with labor." He just emailed me the invoice and it looks like I got a discount on labor as well as some credits toward shop supply and disposal fees. The discount was modest, but appreciated.

I'd like to buy a walkie talkie for my next run. Can anyone recommend a make/model? Or at the very least can someone let me know what type I need to buy (I think I'm supposed to be looking for an FMS radios, but I'm technically ignorant and realize I might be mistaken). Thanks.

Hello, I'm brand new to the forum and just purchased a couples membership. I assume that means my spouse will have access to the club benefits, such as the ability to join members-only runs and receive discounts at participating third-party vendors? Does she get a membership card, too? I didn't see anywhere on the application to enter her name. In other words, I'm not really sure what I paid for. That's not a complaint. I was impatient and purchased the couples membership before requesting clarification, so that's 100% on me. And the price was very reasonable, so I'm not remotely concerned. I'm just curious. Thanks.

Hello, I'm a brand new member, so please forgive me if these are dumb questions... This event is labeled an "Open Run". What does that mean? Also, I noticed on the event page says a total of 10 can RSVP. Do most runs limit the number of participants?
