  1. So I have these from a purchase for my 2009 mini and I only used them 1 time and then boxed them up, reason being I had a bad wiring harness and the mechanic took them out and I just never installed them again. If anyone would like them please let me know and they will be yours (no charge) honestly I would just like to see them be used, they are a really good set. I uploaded photos.
  2. Thank you very much and I am definitely finding that out and getting adjusted slowly lol but getting more comfortable with her more everyday.
  3. Thank you Corey I really appreciate it can't wait to go on a run and put her through her paces.
  4. Thank you very much Lori I will say it was hard saying goodbye to LIL chili because I had done so much to that car but it was time and I really love all the cool stuff in this mini. Can't wait to see you all on the next event. I hope you and your family have a very happy Thanksgiving
  5. Just got a new mini today 2023 Cooper s haven't figured out a name yet.
  6. Really sound effect but it depends on if the BOV recirculates or releases into the atmosphere. So there can be benefits depending on the unit you choose.
  7. Other than what you commented on I really don't believe it will and it's why I have not gone to it either.
  8. I have not added a cold air intake myself but I do know some that have and while it's not going to boost HP all that much it will though give you added turbo sound and you will get a more pronounced swoosh from the blow off valve. I have added a K&N filter but I went with the drop in and I do like it. Is it worth $350.00 to do? That really will depend on you really and if it is worth it to you to see if you get any performance from it.
  9. I am going to have to skip this one I hate to say, Just had a bunch of work done again, AC compressor, friction wheel, drive belt and tensioner which finally got rid of the horrible noise but I figure better to wait a bit and see how she behaves before doing any spirited driving. Have a safe run everyone.
  10. Something like that would be done at Mini or maybe Gt peace could do it? But it is the only way to avoid that pesky bulb out error when you switch to LED lights. And it is not cheap
  11. You could always look into replacing the entire headlight assembly with LED they do have ones that are DOT certified but unless you get them coded to the computer you will get that warning. Truth be told for me I just kept the halogen's it really just wasn't worth all the headaches, I barely drive the mini when it's dark outside lol
  12. I would be careful about getting HID lights as for 1 they probably will fail inspection unless they are DOT certified. Also they will cause a lot more heat which will play havoc on your wiring harness for your headlights, I had that issue when I used LED'S. Just something to think about.
  13. Adding the K&N air filter is a good start as I have one in my R 56 it does help the engine to breath a bit better. I agree with Cory on the tunning - re- mapping, if this is going to be your daily driver you may want to stay away from all that but if you want to have a mini that you take to the track or weekend back road runs, it may be a good investment then but I would have a good knowledgeable mini mechanic go over the engine, perhaps a leak down test to be sure mechanically the engine will be able to handle that extra HP no matter what stage tune you decide to do.
  14. Finally got the oil catch can installed and I am hoping that my engine will appreciate it.
  15. So it did turn out to be the high pressure fuel pump. Got everything taken care of and she is running great now. Still have to do a carbon cleaning on the valves but that will be next after my wallet recovers from this last one lol. Look forward to the next run. Thank you for all your advice
  16. So as of right now it is looking like the high pressure fuel pump we are getting low readings from the fuel rail on the high pressure side going to check and see if there is a leaking fuel injector but because it's a misfire in a single cylinder it is not likely. I am going to do my best to make the run on Saturday but chances are that might not be possible.
  17. I have really starting to think that myself to be honest, with 81,000 miles on the clock I am fairly certain there is a good amount of carbon buildup on those valves. Now the plugs were just replaced about 200 miles ago or so and I used NTK plugs, coil pack was done 11,000 miles ago and installed Delphi coils. I have also heard the knock sensor can cause a lot of issues also if it is indeed bad. Thank you for all your help
  18. That is what I have learned and she is currently in having it looked at. That light has gone away but now I was left with misfire codes po301 po304 so all I can do is wait now and see what they say. Thank you Corey
  19. So I was hoping someone might have some insight on this new issue. I just recently did the downstream oxygen sensor and it was spent for sure, put in the ntk as it said that is OEM. So the day after this being done she ran great. Then this morning I start the car up and heard a noise in the rear almost like something was loose then I got a light pop up which is a half lite up motor, looked it up and it said engine power reduced or something like that. Anyone ever have this or any ideas as to what it might be I would appreciate it. Note: no check engine light came on and on the return home that light went off
  20. No worries at all and thank you for the message.
  21. That sounds great and thank you very much for your fast reply.
  22. So just wanted to check in on my new membership card for this year. I updated for 2025 back on 01/03/25 but have not yet received my card. Just want to make sure everything went through ok.
