So as of right now it is looking like the high pressure fuel pump we are getting low readings from the fuel rail on the high pressure side going to check and see if there is a leaking fuel injector but because it's a misfire in a single cylinder it is not likely. I am going to do my best to make the run on Saturday but chances are that might not be possible.

I have really starting to think that myself to be honest, with 81,000 miles on the clock I am fairly certain there is a good amount of carbon buildup on those valves. Now the plugs were just replaced about 200 miles ago or so and I used NTK plugs, coil pack was done 11,000 miles ago and installed Delphi coils. I have also heard the knock sensor can cause a lot of issues also if it is indeed bad. Thank you for all your help

That is what I have learned and she is currently in having it looked at. That light has gone away but now I was left with misfire codes po301 po304 so all I can do is wait now and see what they say. Thank you Corey

So I was hoping someone might have some insight on this new issue. I just recently did the downstream oxygen sensor and it was spent for sure, put in the ntk as it said that is OEM. So the day after this being done she ran great. Then this morning I start the car up and heard a noise in the rear almost like something was loose then I got a light pop up which is a half lite up motor, looked it up and it said engine power reduced or something like that. Anyone ever have this or any ideas as to what it might be I would appreciate it. Note: no check engine light came on and on the return home that light went off

For sure if you are going to go that way check out on youtube project mini he really explains just about every repair in mini's and he also has a Facebook group called mini diy where you can chat with other mini owners about all this. Just a little something to think about. Good luck -

I truly do feel for you. I have a 09 R56 and I had to put a bunch of $ into her, $1700 to have the AC fixed that was a broken Actuator which requires the whole dash to be removed then I had a oil leak around the valve cover but did that one myself for a decent price also had a coolant leak which lead to replacing the radiator and hoses $1500 but other than that I do the oil changes myself I keep up with plugs coil packs and know she runs like a champ. I felt the same as you at first but mine only has 75,000 miles and I refused to give up on a car I absolutely love. So I do hope you hang in there, I would just take it to GT peace if I were you they are great there and you will not regret keeping your mini. And like me I knew purchasing a mini that I would have to put money into it and just accepted it, I hope you do the same. Good luck!!!! -
Try looking on the out motoring site I have seen them there and from that point you can apply them yourself which with some patience and time shouldn't be to difficult. If you have a window tinting person you could also have them do the work. Just some ideas. But yeah I have seen the stripes and many different sites and really they are not that pricy.

So maybe someone can tell me if they think I will have and issues with rims and tires I just got. So oem is 16x6.5 and offset of 48 and current tires are 195/55/16. New rims are 16x7 offset of 45. New tires are 205/50/16. I don't think there would be any rubbing issues but any comments will be greatly appreciated.

I am fairly certain that would be really great and someone would probably need one of those parts. But I would see what Mr Corey would say.

I wish it could be just that but I do have cold air just as long as the car is cold. I have a strong feeling it is a actuator in the dash not allowing the blender door to work properly

Anyone every have to do a head gasket?

Wow looks like a huge job but there is a lot you can do while it's stripped down to this point and get her running like new. -
Thank you very much for your input I have had a couple different people tell me it could be those exact same things so I am going to have the mechanic I work with throw his gauges on it and see what numbers we get. I am just hoping it's not something that's going to cost me thousands to fix. Again thank you for your response

So I was hoping someone might have a idea of the issue I am having. My air conditioning will only blow cold air when I first start the car but as soon as I start to drive or accelerate it goes straight to warm. Compressor is working and it is charged with refrigerant. I was thinking a vacuum leak but if anyone can help I would be so grateful
