I get the reasoning; however, I've heard of a number of people who have had their insurance back away during an event at a DE (non-timed, and labeled as a school) years ago it was a different story and you could get away with a track event falling under your policy/not excluded. however, my understanding is the language of policies has changed in the recent years to include more exclusions. also, with Lockton (and the like) offering track day/DE insurance these days, makes me more inclined to think 'regular' auto policies might leave you hanging.

jacked the car up, pulled the wheel, and removed/peeled back the front half of the fender liner. much easier this way rather than fighting it blind in my opinion

to cycle back to the original question, if it were me, id buy some bulbs and throw em in there. dont like them, go back to stock bulbs

the fogs are a noticeable supplement to the regular low beams, especially with having the HID lighting the yellow is a much more dramatic color difference. I like them. thats my understanding as well, and my fogs cut out with high beams in use

amber or yellow fogs? I have replaced both my high beam and fog light bulbs with yellow bulbs. I dont know if you can make it out in this photo, but they do have some yellow look to them in the reflection in the bowls when off. Unfortunately, I have no photos of the bulbs when illuminated at this point for what its worth, I love having the yellow fogs, and put them in all my vehicles _DSC1594 by DrFraserCrane, on Flickr
