We have an opening in our cabin right in the middle of all the activities at MOTD. Our usually couple decided to do adult things and be extra preggers during MOTD. It is a shared room has two twin beds with one bed already claimed (male occupant). So there is one bed remaining, if you are coming solo and want a place to crash that doesn't require any driving after evening events just reach out. Please drop me a line for more details.

I'll start: Who? Corey and Brandy When are you arriving? We get in on Sunday Apr 30th. Week make a week of it, and help with early setup Where are you staying? We have a cabin in Fontana Village, all are welcome to use it as a hang out/regroup spot. Is it your first time? We are old hats at this Did you sign up for any of the registration events (welcome dinner, bingo, draggin dragons, farewell dinner)? We are signed up for Bingo (we host this event with our other cabin members) and also have both have spots in the draggin dragons Are there any runs you a excited to do? Well my favorite run it the Hellbender to Franklin (To Hell & Back), but that because I lead that run on Friday. Another run we never miss is the Skillet Run on Thursday morning. This is a early start but drive right through the Great smokie mountains national park (with a high likelihood of an elk spotting) Any Questions you may have? No questions from us, but happy to answer any questions you may have.

Hey all, I did a quick scan of the "who's going" section on the MOTD page and saw we have a few DCMMers signed up. So who all is going? In the past we have done things like a club dinner one night, and it is always good to make sure everyone is set up for success. Let hit they key points. Who? When are you arriving? Where are you staying? Is it your first time? Did you sign up for any of the registration events (welcome dinner, bingo, draggin dragons, farewell dinner)? Are there any runs you a excited to do? Any Questions you may have?

The club has liability coverage for the event, but this covers the club for any resulting damages to the facility. Driver sign a liability waiver at the event, if you have participated in a BMW NCC autocross event in the past it is the same one. Driver's should review the own insurance cover as most all do not cover track events, and you could get additional coverage for the day if you would like. That being said, autocross is conducted in a large open area with cones as the barriers of the course with plenty of run off areas. Additionally there is no side by side racing, you are racing th clock in this event. Accidents are very rare, but as with anyware not impossible. The most common car injury is a scuff mark from a cone, which usually just rub off. Flock, Thank you for mentioning this, and I hope I provided a good understanding that will be having there first experience. We understand most attendees will be at there first event and we have very experienced instructors and have a crawl-walk-run approach.

If you are an MINI SE owner thinking of taking part there are chargers at Summit Point Motorsports park

This is a great upgrade or replacement for anyone with a Gen1, the Bilstein is who makes MINI OEM struts and shocks and the B4 are the commercial version of the upgraded JCW suspensions(not standard on JCWs) in the Gen 2 MINIs.

It is called the mistress run because it is around valentine's day. The joking being spend valentine's with your loved one, and spend the day with your mistress (you MINI) on the 18th. All are welcome to attend you can hope for snow that weekend so the run gets slid back like two years ago. That might make for a cold rugby match though.

Then, drivers will learn how to make the most of their runs by examining techniques like walking the course to determine good run lines, throttle modulation (your gas pedal is not an on-off switch!), and when to brake. Hey all, I was speaking with David (GM of Passport MINI of Alexandria) at MINIs Take the Beltway this past weekend, and he asked me to share these. They had an owner decide that they did not like the wheel tire package that came on their new MINI, and they were replaced. So now they a stuck with a barely used set of wheels and tires. The set are black 18" rims (36-10-5-A31-927 Jet Black) wrapped in summer 205/40R18 86W Pirelli PZeros. New this combo is $2300, they just want the space back in there service bay so they are letting them go for $600 These are 5 lug and for F chassis (Gen3) MINIs If anyone is interested please reach out to David Hellmuth at 703-461-6275 or email his at davidhellmuth@passportauto.com If you grab them please let me know and I will update this posting. -Corey
