I was parked overnight at Wheaton. I spoke at length to the Metro Transit Police officers who came out to take the report that they said there had been several recent break-ins at College Park also. I ended up calling a company that State Farm recommended called Glass America. They are scheduled to come out to my house on Wednesday. For fun I called Mini of Annapolis to get a quote of them too and Glass America came in at under half of the what the dealer was asking.

I had this same thing happen to me over the weekend in a Metro garage near my house in Maryland. The thieves smashed my passenger window to get at a whole lot of nothing in my car. I saw Armor Auto Glass mentioned in this thread but also saw the 2009 date. Has anyone had a more recent experience getting glass replaced that they could share? For reference I have a 2010 Cooper S. Thank you in advance!!!

They posted some pictures to their Facebook page but I wasn't able to make it up there last night to check out the set-up in person.

I want to say thank you to everyone who helped organize this! This was my first MTTB and I was super impressed with how smoothly everything went. I had a lot of fun today and will definitely try to make it out to more DCMM events in the future. :motor:

For those of us who don't currently have a two-way radio but want to try and pick up a pair prior to Sunday after reading this…is there one this group would recommend that works well between cars? Thanks!!
