    Thanks so much for the response and advice! You know, the damn thing hasn't made a popping sound in a week. I still made an appointment to have it checked out. Thanks again!

    I have a new 2011 MINI with the upgraded HK stereo. This morning on my way to work it started making a popping sound and turning off and then back on. I turned it completely off, but it continued to pop every ten or so minutes as if it was turning back on. Has anyone ran into this problem??
