Anyone interested in a stock exhaust off of a 2006 R50? Just put a Borla exhaust on, and the old one is cluttering up the garage. The muffler is pretty rusted out, but all of the pipe is solid. Free to whoever wants it. -Bill

This has happened recently to Austin as well. I am going to check the ignition coil contacts, as I know they are prone to corroding - maybe that is causing the stutter?

I like the look of the 4 slat chrome bonnet grills off of the 2002-2004 Mini Cooper R50s. Was wondering if that grill would fit my 2006 R50.

Will a pre-facelift grill fit a facelift R50? -Billy

Hey folks, Anyone have a set of 2002-2006 Cooper S side scuttles that they would like to sell or trade for the black Just-a-Cooper ones? My MINI is getting chromed out, and I think the red S would go nicely with the Chili Red color.

Thanks for the replies guys! I ended up loaning the tool from Autozone, but it turned out to not function properly (the head unit would just spin in place - must have been missing a pin . . .). Tried the needle nose pliers idea, but the piston would not budge! I ended up just completely removing the rear calipers from the car so I could get the necessary leverage to push and twist the pistons. Fun stuff.

Hey folks, I'm in the midst of replacing my '06 Cooper rear brake pads, and can't seem to get the piston to retract. Bought one of those 'universal' cubes at Auto Zone, but all of the pegs are too far apart Does anyone have the tool for this job that I could possibly borrow? Cheers, -Bill
