last year we all got together and made crackers for the parade. This year it might be nice to all get together and work on our costumes. To do this we need a place. My townhouse parking lot would be stretched to house 8 - 10 MINIs but we can use it if there's nothing better. I also own sewing machines if people need them. Would you guys be interested in doing this? Maybe the afternoon of 11/29? Ideas?!!

I have very good news. After totaling up the online donations, money collected at the event and the Tshirt sales profits we raised $2582 For Operation Second Chance, that's the most that we have ever raised!!!!! Way to go Thanks to every single person that participated and volunteered to make the event a success

I just wanted to share something that was really funny from my perspective. I know we made a big deal out of being ready to roll when the police showed up. So when they did I went to speak to the officer. I popped my head up to see if people were getting into their cars and there wasn't a person around and I heard the sweet rumbling of MINI motors ready to go. You guys were amazing! I think next year we'll be able to get them back :congrats:

Next event the Manassas Christmas parade, it's on the calendar.

We're working on a gallery feature but that's a ways out. Usually people share on FB and tag the page, or share here by either uploading a link to the shots on another site like FLIKR or by uploading a few into their reply. You can also go to User CP http://dcmetrominis.org/forum/settings/ then pictures and albums and create an album. You have to let us know that it's there

We have some last minute counting to do but we broke $2,000 is donations!!!! Thank you to everyone that participated, helped, planned, drove, had fun, donated etc. It was an awesome event and I'm now officially exhausted
