  1. At the Dragon they were showing the Prima Wheel Sonax, it has a chemical reaction with the brake dust and allows you to wash it off easily. It changes color as it works. It goes on green and turns a dark red as it lifts the brake dust Mark bought it and I think he liked it. I'm using Armoral wheel protectant right now, but I think Prima might have one and if they do, I'll just switch to that. I found it here and they have images at the bottom that explain how it works http://www.detailersdomain.com/Sonax-Full-Effect-3-Pack-Kit_p_593.html
  2. Glad you had fun!
  3. Good advice! Thanks for noticing that the new screws are like the old ones that rusted. So I do need to replace them with stainless
  4. It was a lot of fun and a great fundraiser too
  5. You're early I'll be there before 10:00, don't do early very well

  9. Can anyone go onto Ft Myer or do you need to be military?
  10. I need a manly man favor at the Meet and Greet. I got the new plates and and one of the screws is totally stripped and rusted. Anyone know how to get that sucker out? I tried WD40, but I can't get the screw driver to bite. Maybe it's just my crappy screwdrivers or maybe it's that I am weak like little girl. OK, Mark tried too so it's probably our screwdrivers. Does anyone have a good phillips head that they can bring along that I can use to try and get this thing changed out? Ali
  11. The Exxon is about 3 miles from Passport but can get kind of busy. I live about a half a mile from the Exxon so if you want to PM me, you're welcome to come by and use our hose to wash your car.
  12. I've tried throwing the peace sign, mostly they look at me weird. But one time I was at a restaurant eating outdoors. I saw a MINI stop at the stop sign and I threw the peace sign. She rolled down her window and said "Do you have Tigger?" She lived near the restaurant and had seen Tigger parked near it. Oh it was a glorious moment :wavey:
  13. You can look up some details here if they registered, but there's not a lot http://gpmini.net/wp/introduction/
  14. Steve I have crammed those exact rims into Tigger's back seat and they are a perfect fit. I need to take the top down to get them in and out. I line the seat with a drop cloth and in they go.
  15. The problem with a Seafoam party is a location. The cars will smoke really bad and no one wants to host. I did it once in my neighborhood but it was kind of stinky and I think the neighbors were not amused. We always struggle with this one
  16. I have the SLItes, they don't fit over 2nd gen JCW brakes, we looked into it for Mark.
  17. :motor::sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep::motor:
  18. I can't say technically what's happening but I like that it makes the steering feel heavier. I use it all the time when I drive Mark's JCW. The first time I hit it, I was scared. Thought something dramatic would happen
  19. :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
  20. Did we just change the topic and are no longer discussing cup holders:questionmark:
  21. Mr OEM looks lonely, I hope the bears didn't scare him during the night
  22. I have some clipboards that I can bring to loan out.
  23. If anyone needs a camera let me know, I can charge up the old Olympus and offer it as a loaner. Ali
