Justin and I got lost all over the place, we did an extra 25 miles missing the third check. point. We blame our navigators, Justin was happy winning first prize and I know both cars will be back next year. Thanks Dan for putting on a fun event.

Looked at the RE760's and decided not to get them because I heard they get flat spots sitting in temps 60 and under. Went with 215/40/17 Dunlop Z1 star specs tires. Paying 110 a piece through my friends shop. Will post up how I like them later in the week.

You still picking up my 17" S-Lites on Sunday, Jason ?
I was running Falken Ziex 912s on them and really liked them for a solid summer performance tire.
Yeah got the cash. Just wondering if they will be bouncing around for the run. I can pick them up at your place or the meet is fine.

I have 2 sets of 17's my street set and another set for race hoosier's. Don't mind run flats, but the price is pretty crazy and I plan on replacing my back seat with a spare tire attached to a rear seat delete board.

Need new tires for the MINI and not sure what to get. Anyone with different than stock tires want to chime in would be great. Leaning towards KDW2's or Nitto Neo Gen's.

definitely chatter when:
1) RPM's are below 2500
2) letting go of the gas at speed
3) chatter at idle
other than that - it's nice. The chatter comes from the "traditional" flywheel. The dual-mass FW has a harmonic balancer to stop the chatter - it's just a noise issue.

That sounds about right, a little chatter is fine. The FW weight savings is well worth the noise.

nice mods to make a well rounded street car. I will have to do clutch soon when I get my engine work done. Do you have any extra noise from the clutch? When I did a clutch upgrade in my GTO I got alot more noise from clutch engagment at low speeds.

Well I got my new job, but have to start training in Indianapolis, IN on the 13th. So not sure if I can make this event now since I will be taking the MINI out there on the 12th.
