  1. Found the info to modify it to fit in 2nd generation mini's. all that has be done is cutting away some of the plastic to make it work with factory seat belt holder. It doesn't effect the intregrity of the harness in anyway. It might fit in the clubman also, but I don't want blue harness in my red and black car.

  2. I have a blue driver side Schroth QF Harness and comes with cloth shoulder pads. New this would cost 300 for harness and 30 for pads.

Never used for race, only used at the Tail of the dragon for 5 days and a couple of DCMM events. Only reason for the sale is it won't fit in my clubman. Not sure if it fits second generation cooper, it was in my 2006 Cooper S.

Local only, would rather not ship. I have all hardware. $200. If your are local I have 3 or 4 day weekends and can do the install for you.

  3. Run flats are part of the issue. I went to s lower profile auto cross tire on my car and the ride got softer over the bumps. I put on 215 40 17 Dunlop Z1 star specs, had them on both my 2006 Cooper S and my clubman. The ride comfort was improved in both cars. Also rear sway bay will make the handling better I had a 22mm in my Cooper S. Haven't done suspension to the clbman yet.

  4. I can live vicariously through all your mods! When I finally decide what to do to my JCW I'll know who to call. What is your best performance mod to date? I still think suspension is on the short list for me.

The shifter or the BOV are up there. Both are Helix parts, according to my brother Helix had some of the best installation instructions he had ever used. Will post up pics or video tomorrow, couldn't take it out last night because my hids I installed are flickering, got to wire them to a better ground.

  5. Same car. All the chrome has been blacked out except the scuttles, door handles and gas cap. The sig pic looks funky because I used some filter in an iPhone app. Makes the wheels look black too =) Here's the same pic unfiltered:

if you want your wheels powdercoated black I have a friend who can do them cheap. He is doing my stock JCW wheels and a set white for my brother

  6. Well my car had a nice day starting at Mach V motorsports getting a helix shifter. They took care of me very well and a great price. Thanks to Dan for also test fitting a wheel setup on my car.

Then went to a tint shop that does decals and ended up tinting all the windows 35% and got a front wind sheild top and sunroof done in 5%. Love the new look and the shifter is alot nicer to shift fast now.
