  1. Bump. Still available. Lower price. Now $125 shipped.
  2. Sent reply to your PM.
  3. Garage cleaning continues: Help fund my tire budget for 2014! For Sale: TSW/WMW Upper Motor Mount. High performance Urethane bushing and mounting hardware. Like new condition. Definitely reduces engine movement, but does introduce more vibration at idle. Great for track car or autocross (if allowed by class), not so great for a daily driver (unless you already have a single-mass flywheel and/or header, in which case you won't even notice the additional vibration.) Other owners report vibration gets better with time. I just didn't wait to find out. Includes everything you need to bolt in except the M10x125 torx bolt that mounts to the chassis. That's a torque to yield bolt and should not be reused. MINI part 22116766753. It's only about $5. Will fit R53s and R52 Cooper S if you have the right bracket. If your current mount and bracket looks like the one below, then you are good to go. Includes instructions for DIY install. New is $200. Asking $125 shipped to lower 48. $110 if you pick it up (metro DC area.) PM if interested or if you have any questions. Read more about it here on my blog. Paypal preferred. You get this: Which looks like this when it is installed: Will only fit if your current mount looks like this:
  4. Sold. (To me )
  5. I recently got a new iPhone 5S (I wouldn't call it an upgrade -- I don't like it as much as my old 4S oddly enough...) so it's time to sell the old case since it won't work with the new phone. This is a great system to capture in-car HD video and telemetry on your iPhone 4/4S or iPod Touch 4G. Just select the appropriate sled, pop it into the water-resistant case and attach it to your roll/harness bar or use a suction mount to the window (not included). Works great with Harry's Laptimer products. Kit includes: - Milspec water-resistant case for iPhone 4/4S or iPod Touch 4G including 175 degree fish-eye lens (other lenses available from Optrix) - iPhone 4/4S Sled - iPhone Touch 4G Sled - XD4 Tripad Adapter with Quick Release - Flat Basemount with Quick Release - Curved Basemount (use on your helmet) - 2 Replacement Adhesive Strips That's $132 worth of You Tube Hero goodness. Yours for only $75 and I'll even pay for shipping. PM if interested or if you have questions, Paypal preferred. Located in MD.
  6. For Sale: Used 3-spoke leather sports steering wheel from a 2006 Cooper S. Should fit any Gen 1 car from 12/03 build date onwards. MINI Part # 32306762457. Removed to fit JCW Alcantara wheel. Wheel does not include trim or airbag. In excellent condition -- it had an additional leather cover on it for the last three years (which I'll throw in for free if you want to sew it back on). More (and larger) photos here. Thanks for looking. $125. Price includes shipping to lower 48 ($130 if you pick it up). Paypal preferred. PM if interested or if you have any questions.
  7. For Sale: A used set of four wheels in excellent condition. Used for one season, perhaps 8 trackdays. Model DR-23 by Drag. 17x7 inches; 4x100 lug spacing with MINI centering rings. Each wheel weighs 16.6 pounds. Offset: 40. Flat black color. No dings, bends, or curb rash -- just usual wear and tear from mounting/unmounting tires. Would make excellent winter wheels or use with track tires. Includes rings, but not JDM style lug nuts. (See Drag website for Install kits.) Will fit Gen 1 MINIs up through July 2006 build dates. Price: $250 delivered in DC Metro area. (Not worth it to ship: Pay another $160 and buy a new set with free shipping.) PM if interested or if any questions. Paypal preferred. Click photo below to see many more (and larger) photos. Or click here.
  8. PM sent. Interested in the stock air intake cover.
  9. SOLD: M7 Strut Reinforcement Plates for R50/R52/R53 MINI. Used but in excellent condition. These have been painted red with ceramic brake caliper paint (everything is better red...) $75 shipped. Paypal preferred. PM if interested. From M7 website: If mushrooming is your primary concern, then the M7 Strut Re-Inforcement Plates offer the solid solution. Adding the M7 SRPs to your MINI is an inexpensive preventative measure to what could be an expensive fix. We have customers that won't drive a new MINI off the lot without a set of M7 SRPs installed, as well as dealers that sell every new MINI with a set of M7 SRPs. Extremely durable, the 1/2" (13mm) thick plates come in sets of two (left and right) and are made from CNC machined aluminum that is hard anodized black to prevent chipping or oxidization. Our plates cover the ENTIRE surface of the strut tower (not just where the upper strut mount meets the tower) to evenly distribute any loads over a larger area and give you the extra peace of mind. Installation is a snap and includes simple instructions that also addresses fixing existing mushrooming. No need for new bolts, the SRPs use the 3 stock bolts on each side for installation. The M7 Strut Re-Inforcement Plates are designed to fit both the Cooper and Cooper S."
  10. For Sale: A set of used Eibach Pro-Alignment Front Camber Plates in excellent condition. Eibach Pro-Alignment Front Camber Plates for the MINI are constructed from aircraft quality aluminum. The urethane insulator and OEM style bearing will keep noise to a minimum while increasing steering response. 11. Sold: A set of Alta rear endlinks for R53 MINI. Used but good condition. Recently repainted red. Endlinks are about two years old. Ball joints move freely and have no movement or noise in the heim joints. New washers and nuts. (Going back to stock suspension, since someone will ask.) Price: $50 including shipping to lower 48. 14. Going back to stock sale. All prices includes shipping to lower 48. Paypal preferred. PM if interested or if you have any questions. Parts for 2002-2006 Cooper S. 1. SOLD: Used Alta Cold Air Intake (CAI) for manual R53 with optional box top. About a year old (only used Mar-Nov) and in excellent condition. CAI is black with black Alta foam filter. Includes optional box top, but also willing to sell without. (May fit automatics without box top, but you should check with Alta first.) CAI with filter and box top: $140 CAI with filter and no box top: $110 Box top alone (assuming someone buys the CAI and filter first): $40 2. Modified Cowl Partition (MINI part #51717062586) drilled to provide additional air intake through the partition behind your Cold Air Intake. If you removed your partition for a CAI such as Alta's, this drilled partition offers some protection for your filter, while still allowing a free flow of air from the high pressure area entering through the cowl. Asking price: $25. 3. SOLD A pair of Alta Front Swaybar Endlinks for R53 MINI. Used but in good condition with new washers and nuts. Used for about 18 months (12,000 miles). They aren't pristine, but the ends swivel and have free range of movement to increase or decrease length. Who could ask for more? And they are red. 4. SOLD: A used lower stress bar for R53 from Madness Motorworks (formerly MINI Madness.) Lightweight super-strong Cro Moly Steel. Easy installation in about 15 minutes. (Just follow the video on the Madness website.) A great way to stiffen the front end, especially if you cannot fit an upper stress bar because of your CAI. Used for about 9 months, but I'm reverting to a class that won't allow this level of modification. Includes mounting hardware (but you probably want to replace the nuts and washers with new ones.) Asking price: $100 ($80 if you pick it up. I'm in Central Maryland.) For lowered cars, take note: This bar will reduce your ground clearance under your sub-frame by about an inch. If your car is already 3.5 inches off of the ground, you may not clear some speedbumps.
  15. Bump. Still available.
  16. For sale: A set of four Kosei K1 Racing wheels with Falken RT-615K tires. I have five sets of wheels and a single car garage so some things have to go. Up for sale now is a set of Kosei K1 wheels with Azenis. These wheels are probably 8 years old and have been used primarily for autocross and on the track so they aren't the prettiest in the world. They've been repainted a couple of times too with high-temp wheel paint. They fit over MINI Gen1 JCW brakes, though I usually run them with spacers just to get a bit more room between the hub and caliper. The tires are about a year old and have been used for 3 events. Wheels: 16 x 7.5 inches. Offset: 43. 4x100 bolt pattern with MINI metal centering rings and center caps. (I also have BMW E30 rings should anyone want some.) Will probably fit early Miatas and VWs with the right centering rings (available from Tirerack.com). Tires: Falken AZENIS RT-615K 215/45R16 86W with 75-80% of tread remaining. Mfr dated 3111. Wheels with tires: $550 Just the wheels: $300 Just the tires: $300 Paypal preferred. Can deliver in the Baltimore/DC area or ship at buyer's expense. PM if interested. Larger photos of all of the wheels here.
  17. Cleaning out the garage to make space (to buy more stuff: it never ends...) Anyway, here's some stuff that needs to find a new home. PM if interested, Paypal preferred. (I can ship anything if you are willing to pay for shipping.) Can arrange to deliver in Baltimore/DC area. Everything from R53 Cooper S. Prices do not include shipping. R53 Stock Struts from 2004 MCS w/Sport Suspension. 60K miles (maybe?) Look to be in good shape. $75 Spec, lightweight, single mass flywheel. Used for 5K miles. Reverted to stock to sell the car. Looks to be in very good condition. Sold Stock clutch. Came out of an '06 R53. Don't know the mileage. The car had 46K miles when I bought it, but this wasn't the original clutch. $50 Stock right rear brake caliper from a 2004 R53. Needs a new dust boot and probably should be rebuilt. Good for core exchange or diy rebuild. Includes SS brake line and brass bushings. $25 Chili Red front Grilles from R53. One is from a 2006. The other one I think is from 2002. Note the difference in the chrome pieces. Either one $20. Both for $30. R53 (2005-2006) dash pieces for refinishing. Never got around to it, probably never will. Pre-sanded. sold R53 stock chrome exhaust tips in excellent condition. $30/pr R53 hood scoop. Satin black. Never worry about it flying off because this one has bolts that go all the way through. $50 Larger photos here.
  18. Do you want the hitch? Someone else is interested but you replied first.
  19. Instructions here. The hardest part is pulling off the fender trim to get to the screw that's concealed underneath. (Picture 3 in the linked document.)
  20. I think it will fit, but you would lose the back-up light. Don't know if anyone makes a light that fits into the receiver.
  21. Much to my surprise and amazement, when I went to install a rear fog light, I found out my car had a towing hitch. Since I don't need one, I thought I'd try to see if anyone else does. I bought the car in June '11 so the hitch was installed some time during the previous 5 years. It doesn't look it was ever used. It's in pretty good shape, just the wear you would expect from riding out multiple winters around here. It's a Class 1 Receiver Hitch, model M1003 from MINI Do More, which according to their website will fit the following vehicles: 05-06 Cooper S Hardtop without rear fog light 05-08 Cooper S Convertible without rear fog light 07-10 Cooper S Hardtop 09-10 Cooper S Convertible Does not include wiring harness but you might be able to get one from MINI Do More. See their website for installation instructions. It took me less than 30 minutes to remove so I suspect it would take about the same to install. (I can't vouch for installation on a R56, check with MINI Do More before you purchase.) $100, Paypal preferred. Can deliver in DC/Baltimore/No VA, or pick up in Mt. Airy, MD. PM if interested or if you have any questions. (I can bring to NCC Autocross on 4/6 if you want to see it.)
  22. They do come with the MINI center caps shown in the photos.
  23. Not bad. From 5-10 feet you really can't tell. The edges were filed and touched up. I added some higher resolution photos here. You wouldn't win a concourse with these wheels, but certainly passable for a daily driver.
