minirab Posted October 24, 2009 Report Share Posted October 24, 2009 I believe that I have a small coolant leak from the thermostat housing, there is a gasket involved that goes to crap with age. Does anyone have/had this problem, and if so, what was your cost to repair. Mine is out of warrenty so this will be out of pocket. Mr. Ed Posted October 25, 2009 Report Share Posted October 25, 2009 (edited) Christine (CCC777) just had that experience, but I believe she was covered under warranty, including rollback transportation and a loaner by PMoA. A new thermostat with gasket should run under $45... couldn't find just the gasket price. I would imagine labor should be under an hour, and there might be a charge for coolant. Hope this helps.
